I produced the four E-Rank magic cores from my pouch. Agit then took out some kind of glowing stone and held the magic cores against it. They all shone blue.

“Is there something else?”
“I’ll raise the rank on your guild card to E.
“Huh? Why would you do that?”
“As a matter of fact, you need a specified number of magic cores of your own rank to increase it, but a higher ranked magic core counts as 10 cores of the previous rank, you know.”

The adventurers at the bar called out, maybe because they heard it.

“Hm, it’s true. Well, you truly are amazing, aren’t you, Alim?” Agit told me when he heard what the others had said. “You can take pride in that, you know?”
“Ah-ha-ha-ha. I’ll give it my all!” I told him.
“Right! You can do it!” he cheered me on.

I decided to get out of the guild for today. I left after saying goodbye to the adventurers there. They ended up giving me sweets and potions.

Now, should I go see Mr. Arkin?

No speakers except for Alim and Agit are specified, and while we know Gargal and Jeem’s names from the last chapter, it’s pretty much impossible to identify their lines among the other unnamed adventurers.

1. The original is 看板娘 (“pretty girl who attracts customers to come inside a shop”). Poster girl might not be super accurate, but I guess it’s close enough.
2. The original is カスネーク (kasuneku). This could also be a combination of カス and スネーク (“snake”), with カス/かす having several possible meanings, among them 化す (“to change/transform”) and 滓 (“dregs”, “junk”, “dross”). So it might mean “Transforming Snake” or “Trash Snake”.
3. Wait, he’s a former adventurer and saw Alim’s speed at the exam, even commenting that it was too fast for him to see, but he doesn’t believe Alim would be able to kill 4 E-Ranks?
4. I think that’s what he means, the original is only “…everything/all of them, Alim…”.
