On the day after coming back to Anazumu, I was on my way to the “Hikari” inn. The original plan was to make my report concerning the wedding cake, but that wasn’t all I had. I would also present them with ideas for the decorations used for the ceremony and the food that would be served.
“Welcome, Alim, thanks for coming today.”
“It’s no trouble, Mr. Uruto.”
He was standing in front of the inn’s door to welcome me. We then went to the usual room, where Parasuna was obviously already waiting. For now, I sat down in the offered chair.
“Today, I will present you the design for the wedding cake.”
“Right.”
“As a matter of fact, I have also finished deliberating about the decorations of the venue and the food that will be served, so is it alright with you, if I address these, too?”
“Yes, of course!”
In that case, let’s start with the cake.
I had created a model of the cake with Dark Matter, after pondering the design for the whole week on Earth.
“What do you think?”
It was a three-layered cake with a design that looked cool and mature at first, but also had cute elements. On the top, there were long pieces of white chocolate resembling rabbit ears, and a small hut made of marzipan.
The rabbit ears symbolized Parasuna, while the hut was Uruto. This way, they were both on the cake.
“This is me… and that’s Uruto?”
“Exactly. The rabbit ears and the small hut together… that’s you two.”
At that explanation, they looked at each other and smiled.
“We do not have any complaints.”
“So… should I go with this design?”
“Yes, please do.”
Alright, great. I had several alternatives in case they didn’t like it, but this was still the one I put the most work into. I’m glad they’re happy with it.
“Then, that’s it for the cake. Next will be the decorations.”
“Oh, you don’t need to show those to us. It’ll be more fun if we only see them on the very day,” Uruto replied.
“Everything you make is wonderful, Alim,” Parasuna added, “so I’m sure no matter what you pick, it will exceed our expectations.”
“I see, making things fun is important, huh,” I mused.
Indeed, creating a situation, where not only the guests but also the bride and groom were excited, was important. Definitely.
Then what about the food?
“In that case, I’ll make my own decisions on the decor… alright? What about the food?”
“Right… we don’t have any special requests for that.”
“The royals from this country will be here, obviously… and so will those from other countries, who’ll apparently come here on some business, so there should be a solid and appropriate spread. That’s about it.”
Ugh, so there will also be royals from other countries? Here for some business… I hope nothing weird happens again. I really don’t want to get in a war with another country of have to fight another evil god.
Well, I’ll just make the food. It’s a good opportunity to use up some of the stores of ingredients in my magic bag.
“Understood… that was everything from my side. For this meeting, I mean. Please look forward to the day of the wedding.”
“We will… thank you so much,” Uruto said.
“Thank you for everything you’ve done for us, Alim,” Parasuna followed suit.
The two of them stood up and offered a handshake, which I accepted. This was a joyous event that only happened once in your life, so I’d go all out. Well, from now on, it was just preparing stuff with Dark Matter and getting the food ready.
“I’ll be off, then. I wish you both all the best.”
“Yes…! You keep at it with Mika, too, Alim.”
“G-Gender doesn’t matter for love!” Parasuna exclaimed. “We got over many hurdles ourselves, so there’ll be a solution for you, too!”
Dang, apparently, they were worried about Mika’s and my relationship. Not that there was any reason, seeing I was actually male. Neither getting married nor having children should be an issue. But I shouldn’t make light of their worries.
“Yes… thank you for saying that. Soon, I will try to build a machine that allows me to turn into a man.”
“Ha-ha-ha, you turning into a man, Alim. I can’t imagine that.”
Well, I wouldn’t have breasts, and some parts here and there would look slightly more masculine, but it would be barely any different from my current appearance. This might be cause for worry, but at this point, I had accepted my own body for what it was. There would come a day when I’d reveal to the people close to us like these two, that I had turned male.
I’m sure it’ll happen… though when? Three years for now at the shortest, probably. How will we be in three years…? I can only see us still being all lovey-dovey.
Leaving these ponderings aside, I had to go home.
“See you.”
I left the “Hikari” inn. Then, I immediately returned to the mansion, to make out with Mika.
“Mika, I’m mostly done with my bigger jobs.”
“You worked hard.” Right after telling her that, she gave me a kiss on the cheek. “Would you like to have a meal? Or a bath? Or me?”
“It’s only noon. Let’s go with the meal.”
…I wonder, does Mr. Uruto say things like that to Miss Parasuna?
