It was after we figured out how to use the convenient Reincarnation Shop and then discussed what to do from now on.

Seeing we didn’t have anything important to do right now, we made a game of showing Rir things from Japan and then enjoying her reactions. As we killed time like that, it became evening, and we went to the dining hall to eat.

“Here you go, please enjoy!” I announced once I was done.

Today’s dinner consisted of a small Sushi buffet, placed on trays on the table. I was thinking of serving everyone Japanese food for the next few days.

“”Thank you for the food!””

Kanata and Sakura quickly loaded their plates with mostly roe and salmon Sushi, sat down next to each other and started eating the dishes they likely had for the first time in ages.

“W-Woof? What is this…?”
“Oh, that stuff’s called Sushi,” Shuu explained. “Mixed with vinegar, it’s a stable dish in the place we lived. It’s made of slices of raw fish. You eat it with soy sauce.”
“A… a dish made from raw fish!? This is the first I’m hearing of other than carpaccio…”

Rir’s reaction to it was just as interesting as expected. On that note, the thing from Earth Rir had been most interested in was a smartphone. After I recharged Shuu’s phone, which he had brought with him and managed to hold on to by some miracle, he showed it to her…

“It’ a slate…! A glowing slate!?” or “Awoo! This slate can talk!?” or “Why is the moon in this slate!?”

If you asked me, Shuu had found a great girlfriend.

“Woof!! It’s greasy, even though it’s raw fish…”
“That’s ’cause it’s from the fatty part.”

The two of them sat down and started eating. It looked like she found it more delicious than expected, as her tail was swishing restlessly from side to side. She also tried to sniff it, but it only smelled of raw fish, and once she made the mistake of sniffing squid Sushi, she stopped it altogether.

Incidentally, Mika and I had just taken servings of the kind we wanted to eat, and had already started on it. Mika’s favorite type of Sushi was sea urchin. Even so, that didn’t mean she ate nothing else.

“Woof~!? What in the world do you have there, Shuu? It’s yellow and wiggly and looks repulsive!”
“That’s sea urchin, y’know.”
“Sea urchin! That sea urchin!? They eat sea urchin in your world!?”

Mika mumbled a “but it tastes so good” and threw another portion into her mouth. I felt the same, but in the past, I didn’t like it, so I wasn’t one to talk.

Shortly later, we finished our dinner. On that note, the plates refilled the Sushi without limit, so we ate as much as we could, and we also had Tiramisu for dessert (Sakura ate five plates of it).

Now, what to do next…?

“A large bath?”
“Yep. It has hot springs.”

Indeed, we’d take a bath. And today, I was thinking of going to the large bath.

“You have something like that…”
“We do. We use it petty often. Let’s all go there… ah, obviously, there are separate sections for-”

I got that far until I realized.

There was no issue if I went in together with Mika. Rir shouldn’t have a problem either, as long as I stayed female. Even Shuu had often treated me like a girl back in Japan. Mika had verified that this effect extended to acquaintances¹.

But even if that included Sakura and Kanata… there would be tons of issues. Sakura, for example, had clear memories that I was male. More than that, seeing my brother’s girlfriend naked would be a bit… Even supposing she was my future sister-in-law, I couldn’t just join her in the bath with a “I’m a girl, so it’s fine” after just having reunited for two days.

Right, let’s put this off… until me being a girl has sunk in more. So, for today… staying in the men’s bath might be better.

“-erm, unfortunately, I just realized that I have a few more things to prepare, so I can’t join you. Still, please enjoy it, everyone!”

I made myself scarce without looking at their expressions, to quickly add a men’s bath. After finishing the addition in a few seconds, all I had to do was to join Kanata and Shuu once they got there.

…What should I do? Go in there as Alim?

I don’t think it’d be much of an issue to be naked in front of Kanata, seeing we’re siblings, and even Shuu… hang on.
What the hell am I thinking? I may like to cross-dress, but I’m not gay!

…I’m not? Yep, Mika and I just appear so to society².

Nope, too much of a bother. Let’s dye my eyes and hair black and go in there as “Ayumu”, the boy they are used to.

Yep, even though I’m male, the way I look might make them feel like they’re in there with a girl, but that’s fine. I do look kinda dainty!
