“Then, let’s settle in on the couch. Sakura, please copy down your status screen on this paper.”
“Alright.”

Having returned to their room, the two kids sat down on the sofa and started looking over their status screens.

“What the…? We leave our stat screens alone for a few days and this is what happens?”
“Uhm… I’m not super sure, but… aren’t these stats equal to those of SSS-Rank adventurers?”
“No… Thanks to our titles, we have a lot more STP and SKP than they would…”
“Wow~…”

The two kids had been in a daze for some time while looking at their stats. Compared to the last time they checked them, the numbers had shot up way too much. At the time when Sakura synthesized Secret Art of Absolute Restoration, she had only focused on the lower part of the display.

“So… what will we do with this?”
“Good question… I guess we should allocate as many points and synthesize as many skills as possible…”
“Right…”

Kanata brought out several books, which served as skill synthesis lexica, he had bought during their date (temporary description) from his magic bag.

“In that case… I’ll think about what to do while looking through these.
“Alright.”

Kanata first decided to allocate STP4.

In his head, he had already settled on how to allocate most of them. Of the 47’950 points he had, he invested 20’000 each into A and S right away. To make the number look nicer, he put another 50 points into A. He didn’t have to stop and waver about this… especially with S.

7900 points remained. Of those, he allocated 900 in MP, another 2000 in S, and 2000 in C. He then split up the remaining 3000 STP into 1000 each, which he invested into the stats he hadn’t yet touched this session.

“Sakura… do you have any requests for your stat allocation?”
“Right… I don’t need any more MP, I guess? I’d like a bit more attack power. And then basically focus on W and S again.”
“Okay.”

Now, Kanata pondered over Sakura’s stat allocation.

In his mind, he had already mostly settled on putting 20’000 points into W. Since she had requested some more attack power, he then had her invest 5050 points in A. S got 10’000.

As for the remaining 12’900 STP: He had her allocate 2900 to MP, 1000 each to HP and D, same as for himself, and then, since the stat had useful applications, 2000 to C. Once more, he split up the remainder into three parts of 2000 points each, which he had her put into W, A, and S.

“That should do it… I guess. Next would be SKP, but… we should start by evolving and maxing out all the skills we have and then creating all the skills with an (X) and doing the same for those, since they won’t disappear, even if you use them for synthesis.”
“When did you work that all out?”
“A bit earlier. Well, I had to figure it out sooner or later… Oh, now that I think about it, we should also learn the Appraisal skill.”

Kanata brought out the puzzling (key) box from before, which had a picture of two ravens drawn onto it, and started staring at it intently.

“Kanata… what are you doing? Is this about the skill?”
“Well… Listen up, Sakura, try looking at it while thinking ‘I want to know what this is’.”
“Eh…? Alright… I’ll do so.”

Thinking that Kanata likely had a reason for what he was doing, Sakura didn’t doubt his words and followed his example. After gazing at the box for three minutes, the two kids both obtained the “Appraisal” skill.

“Phew. This should make things easier from the next round onwards.
“You already knew how to learn this skill, did you…?”
“Well, kinda. I knew that the Appraisal skill exists, so… I figured you might learn it when staring at something rare or unusual.”
“I… I see.”
“Then… let’s start allocating our SKP.”

Kanata started investing points into his skills.

First, he worked towards learning the skills with an (X) which he didn’t have yet. Once he had done that, he evolved all his skills as far as possible and allocated as much SKP to them as possible, which cost him a grand total of 10’180 points.

When he learned Darkness Magic, he got so excited, Sakura had a hard time calming him down, but that’s another story.

Next, he asked Sakura to do the same, which cost her a sum of 9960 SKP.

Furthermore, they then synthesized Appraisal Master and the five skills that had derived from it, resulting in Appraisal King (Kanata was the one who came up with the idea to synthesize them).

“I wonder, can you use Appraisal together with Clairvoyance, Sakura? Let’s see… could you try appraising the soap in the bathroom?”
“Yeah… let me check… Looks like it works!”
“Gotcha… that’s rather convenient, isn’t it? Anyway, we should think about how to synthesize our skills,” Kanata mused while flipping through the pages of his books.

Sakura also peered at what was written there.

“Ah…!” he exclaimed. “These look convenient…”
“Hm~? Which ones do you mean?”
“Look here; Stout Arm, Nimble Foot, and so on.”
“Should we make all of them?”
“Yep.”

The two kids each synthesized Stout Arm, Deft Hand, Firm Body, Sharp Mind, and Nimble Foot. Furthermore, they then evolved them to their stronger versions, like Stouter Arm.

“Kanata, couldn’t we create something by synthesizing all those five skills?”
“Hm~… It’s possible, but I’d like to wait with that for a bit. We can use them for something else first,” he replied, as he opened the last page of the skill synthesis lexica’s final volume.

TL notes:
I guess the author realized that these stat sheet chapters were getting overly long and split this one up into two parts.

As always, some numbers in the stat screens had to be fixed, but it was relatively little compared to other times.

Footnotes:

  1. This is 神人 (Godlike Being) in the original. Alim and Mika both didn’t get that title until they used Reincarnation, as is the case for Shuu and Rir, so I assume that’s an error here.
  2. Same as with Kanata, this is 神人 in the original.
  3. I’m not sure why she’d have that title, seeing she didn’t kill any monsters between chapter 270 and this one. Maybe it’s because of their time hunting E-Rank monsters with Thor, but in that case they both should’ve gotten the title earlier.
  4. It’s SKP here (and in following sentences) in the original. Considering the context, this is a typo.
