Whereas the rarity of my weapon, Rhone Wooden Sword, was 0, the rarity of sis’ Turbulent Twin Swords was 4.

So I voiced out my genuine doubt.
“How strong is a rarity 4 weapon?¹⁷”
“Aah, that’s the strongest one at the moment. A stronger one will become available tomorrow though.”

Iikh! The strongest! Even going off of the love birds’ reaction, could sis actually be one of the strongest players, even amongst the beta testers?

The conclusion that I formed after making a party with sis is that she is very dedicated to online games¹⁹.

I looked towards the direction sis pointed at, and hidden behind the very tall grass was a light blue object creeping about.

“What is that?”
“It’s a monster.”
“Nothing like a name is displayed though.”
“It will be displayed when you are in combat with it. Although, sometimes it won’t show anyway.”
In combat, huh.
“That is Clan Clan’s weakest monster. That wooden sword secured at your waist should be enough to beat it.”

She giggled at my equipment, making fun of it.
“Just watch.”
I was a little offended. I readied my sword and fixed my gaze at the pale blue object.

The target is an approximately 40 cm big small living being.
Its appearance is a light blue mound, which jiggles like jelly²⁰.
I closed the distance and swung my wooden sword at it from the top, in what could be called a surprise attack.

“Kyuii!?”
The moment the sword connected with the monster, it sank into that jelly-like body, and then was bounced back by the slime’s substantial elasticity²¹.

I couldn’t stop the rebound, and so the wooden sword swung back to my head.
Bonk.
“Uwaa…²²”
There wasn’t any pain, but it was still an attack. I stumbled back a step or two and covered my head.
It then charged at my abdomen, pushing me back another few steps.
That appeared to be the immediate counterattack from the pale blue jelly monster, the “Slime”.

A pair of cute little eyes vigilantly look my way.
I don’t see any part that might be its mouth²³.
“So that is a slime…”

So this is what battles are like in a VRMMO huh… my body’s movement isn’t different at all from the reality, and there’s no discomfort at all.
I readjusted my wooden sword and looked at sis with a sideways glance. She was staring here with her mouth open, flabbergasted²⁴.
She seemed to be surprised and wasn’t going to give me any assistance.

I have not the least amount of desire to ask for help from sis against the weakest monster in Clan Clan in the first place. Therefore, I unleash my next attack.

“Hyaa!”
Again, the wooden sword struck the slime.
It looked like it hit, but was bounced again by the elasticity. That broke my stance, and the slime aimed at my abdomen and landed a hit.
“Gukh.”
I subconsciously fell down on my back, but I stood up again.
I managed to dodge by a hair’s breadth.

When I looked at my status, I noticed that my HP has fallen a little, from 30 down to 20²⁵.
It is the weakest, but not to be underestimated.

“Soiya!”
This time, I swung horizontally!
When I swung down from above, the ground hold the slime in place, and so my sword bounced back at me again. If I swung horizontally, then there shouldn’t be any rebound and the slime will be sent flying.

As I have imagined, the slime has fallen prey to my wooden sword… except it didn’t.
It deformed itself, flattening and shrinking its height.
Thus, the wooden sword missed, passing over the slime.

“What!?”
And then, the slime charged at me through the gap in my stance that had opened after I swung my sword.
“Guoh!”
It landed a hit on my shoulder. My HP fell further from 20 to 15.

This is a “Slime”… the weakest monster of Clan Clan.

It’s too strong.

Is this difficult enemy really the weakest?

However, having the worst experience in history, the poopfession, under my belt, I won’t give in to just this much.
After the slime landed from its attack, it prepared for its next attack.
This time, it appeared to be aiming at my feet.

In that case,
I pull back my right leg with my left leg as the axis.

“Uoooooooooo!”
I’m going to kick the slime as retaliation.
And when the kick connected, the airborne slime wouldn’t be able to control its trajectory. When it landed, I will immediately crushed it with my wooden sword.

Skill points can be allocated to a skill. When a skill levels up, new abilities can be learnt.

No matter how I think of it, I really want to increase the success chance of Alchemy, even by a little, so I prioritize my intelligence. Other than that, my agility looks high in the first place. I don’t need defense if I dodge all incoming attacks with my agility. I should aim for a little more excitement, don’t you think? ³⁵
