Today is finally the day of the collab with my dad, Glint of Schwarz.

I had a morning shift at my part-time job, so after getting home, I started prepping for the collab.

Though it’s a collab, it isn’t an in-person one, so the setup is pretty much the same as usual.

Just because everything is set up doesn’t mean we’d start streaming immediately. I make sure to have dinner before the evening to be ready to go live at any moment.

I messaged Dad to ask when we’ll start the stream, and he said we’d aim for two hours starting from 6 p.m.

I was actually relieved to hear that; anything longer, and I’d start getting sleepy.

I bet Dad planned it that way, knowing that…

Anyway, I checked the tags on the streaming app to make sure the V-Live tag was included. I’d probably check again later, but double-checking is crucial!

…Yup, everything’s in order. Cool.

With some time to spare before the stream, I zoned out in front of the TV for a bit, replied to some tweets on Tweeter, and checked my Marshmallows.

Before I knew it, it was almost 6 p.m., and the start of the stream was looming.

Dad messaged me that it was almost time to start.

I got my 3D model ready and entered the channel we’d use for the collab stream.

Dad entered the channel almost at the same time as me.

By “entered,” I don’t mean we were side by side, like in VR or anything.
The screen is split in two, with his model on the right side and mine on the left.

This setup always ends up looking like those clips you see online.

Then I connected to Dad on voice chat.

“Dad, I’m all set up.”
“Okay, Yuki, just do it like you always do. No need to get all worked up.”
“Got it!”
“All right, I’m gonna switch into Schwarz mode, so don’t freak out when I suddenly change character, okay?”
“Yeah!”

And then we started the stream.

{Good evening, Lis-niis, Lis-nees! It’s Shirahime Yuka♪}
“Good evening, everyone, it’s Glint of…”
Suddenly, Glint of Schwarz’s 3D model and voice started glitching.

{Eh?! Wait, what’s happening, Dad?!}

Then, at that moment, Glint of Schwarz started glowing.

{Huh?!}

And when the light faded, where Glint of Schwarz should have been, there was no sign of him. Instead, there was a woman with long white hair.

“Good evening, everyone, I am Yuri Shirahime.”

And Yuka Shirahime, not catching up yet, turns towards where Schwarz is supposed to be and manages to say…

{Huh? Who are you?}

“Oh, dear, Manager-sama, didn’t we share drinks once…?”

“Oh my, have you figured it out already…?”

{Huh? Dad, is that you?!}
“Yes, it is, Yuka-chan.”
{Hiiee! It feels so weird!}

“Shall we start then, Yuka-chan?”
{FWEEEH!!! THIS FEELS SO WEIRD!!!}

Thus, the chaotic stream finally began.
