Kou was stunlocked, processing what she had just heard as Reo went to the rear of the car to retrieve his things from the trunk, carrying them to the vacation house.
Then he ran up to the two ladies, leaving together with them. By the time Kou recovered, there was no one she could ask questions to anymore.

*…I definitely misheard something, yup.*

In the end, she decided to stop thinking about it.

“July, I’ll go with mom to our room to leave our things too, what do you want to do?”
“Do you want to go play with Hinagiku and the other girls?”

Reiji and Iris had been having some serious discussion with Amari, and when they were done, they spoke to their daughter, who had forgotten about everything else while talking to her new friends.

And so, Hinagiku and Miyuki joined the princess (Julia)’s party, Rouge also went to sit on her shoulder, and they were all excited to go on a walk.

“Hijairi, Subaru, and prez. We’re the princess’ guard now, stand ready!”

“Okay okay, as you wish commander.”

After seeing the children run off laughing, Kou and the rest of the older ones followed after them.
