Project GB is an official initiative by Re:Library.

The elves of Floria had finally agreed to form an alliance.
But that was merely the first step. The main issue would be figuring out how to deal with Ba‘al Zəbûl Aery.

It was only an alliance, the elven queen Florite would remain in power, and Floria would keep being independent.

The issue with that was how little players had to gain from taking part in the fight, essentially only the loot and drops (though that usually was what players wanted the most), while the raid itself necessitated a large number of players.

No one would be able to expand their territory, and unlike the time in R’lyeh, they had no one specific they wanted to save.
The only thing they could rely on to amass enough people was Crim’s popularity and connections.

“…And as usual, I’m the first person you come crying to for help, I see.”

Reo looked defeated, knowing he could not escape that fate anymore.

…They were all gathered in their clubroom at school.
It had already been a day after they formed the alliance with Floria.
Reo had visited the clubroom after the day’s classes were over, and Kou instantly told him about the upcoming Legion Raid.

“I mean, I appreciate that you rely on me like this…but it’s going to be difficult this time.”
“Aw…you can’t then?”
“If anything I think you should try to think a bit more about the positions we have now.”
“Ah…I guess you’re right. That was careless of me.”

Reo calmly shot down the idea, forcing Kou to reflect on her actions.
…Crim and Sorleon were no longer just leaders of guilds.
They were both the leaders of the guilds occupying different fourths of the continent.
Now it was harder for them to casually help each other out of friendship, and as Reo pointed out, they had to be more aware of the positions they held.

“You’re right… It’s just that this Ba‘al Zəbûl Aery girl could be the worst enemy I’ve encountered, so I wanted some help.”
“Okay, I’ll help you out. Tell me more about the enemy.”
“I appreciate the help, but what happened to what you just saidddd?!”

The moment Kou carelessly mentioned that she could be the worst enemy so far, Reo instantly flipped in his decision, and the speed of that change made Kou raise her voice in confusion.

“She’s going to be a hard enemy, right? I can’t wait to fight her.”
“…You really are obsessed with fighting…”

While Reo was looking at her with excitement, Kou just sighed.

Kou had secured the help from the Northern Empire, which she had hoped to obtain the most. Soon, Reo would also send out a message to the other guilds in his Union to inform them about it.

“We’ve got the Northern Empire on our side, so the next step will obviously be to contact Shao from Blueline too.”

It was a bit harder to know whether Shao would agree to help or not, but Kou really wanted his help since the enemy was composed of swarms of flying insects, and Blueline was a conglomeration of many spellcasters.
…But even if they agreed to help…

“We’ll still need more people, hmm…”

At that point, it did not matter how skilled they were or not, Kou wanted to enlist more players.
The Legion Raid would play out essentially like a tower defense game across a large area, so they needed a lot of members to properly cover every direction.

“I guess we’ll have to write a recruitment post after all… But hmm, we can’t really offer much in return, so I don’t know if it’ll work…”

Kou began writing a recruitment post for the official bulletin board, despite her growing doubts about it.
…But she was the only one worrying like that.

“…Kou and Haru will lead the recruitment calls, right?”
“Mhm, they will~”
“Haru actually got permission to use her stage name of Kirisu Sakura for it too, so she’s serious about making it work.”

Reinhard asked that, and Hijiri and Subaru nodded.
The only way Kirisu Sakura could help in the fight was by providing buffs through her songs, so instead, she would play with her Haru avatar in the fight. But she was allowed to use her famous name for the recruitment post.

“…Then it should be fine, right?”
“Yeah, plenty of people will come just by seeing those names.”
“Mhm, I think so too…”
“They’re the two most influential players of the first server after all…”

While Crim was stressing out about getting things ready, everyone else chatted without a worry in the world.

And just like they expected… By the time Kou got home, she let out a shriek the moment she checked her inbox and saw it was packed beyond her expectations…
