In the end, it was decided that dealing with Crom Cruach was beyond the hands of NTEC, so the National Police Security Bureau and the Isolated World Special Task Force Office took over, and as Hayato was their overseer, he assigned Yukina to monitor the situation.
Only one person was told about that secret information, Crim, who held her own head like she was enduring a painful headache while on a walk with Setsuna.

“I feel the need to apologize… Doesn’t this mean thine workload has increased?”
“Don’t worry about it. My father already told me stories about Crom Cruach in the past, so I’m really happy I get to meet him myself!”

It was a relief to see Setsuna was not bothered by her increased workload… And with the matter settled, they returned to the simple Transport Plaza the Sephir Maidens had prepared for them after defeating the miasma giant, regrouping with the rest of their guild after their lunch break.

“…So we have a new ally, Crom Cruach. Be nice to him, everyone.”

Crim spoke to those present, introducing the little dragon sitting on her shoulder.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you!”
“Nice to meet you, Mr. Dragon!”

The youngest of the group, Hinagiku and Lycoris, were drawn to Crom Cruach just like Freya was, moving closer to him as he looked away in a bad mood.
Meanwhile Kasumi repeated his name many times under her breath, eventually raising her voice with a suggestion.

“You know, having to call him Crom Cruach all the time could get tiring, so how about we find a shorter nickname?”
“That’s true… Mr. Dragon, do you have any favorite nicknames?”

Hearing Kasumi’s suggestion, Hinagiku picked up the little dragon from Crim’s shoulder and asked him.

*”Hm…someone I was with BEFORE called me CROM.”*
“Then we can go with that too, if it doesn’t bother you.”
*”Yeah, I don’t care AT ALL.”*

And so it was decided that Lua Cheia would refer to Crom Cruach as just Crom.

“We’ll have lots of fun together, Crommy!”
*”Now listen here you LITTLE… Ah who CARES.”*

Crom sighed and slumped his shoulders, realizing that resistance was futile as Freya happily petted him.

And just as Crim finished talking to her guild…

“Well, I think you’re done there so… Demon Lord, I have a favor to ask. Could we go with you?”
“Ahahah…everyone else already got their parties ready and left while we waited for you, so we got left behind.”

They were Suzaku and Haru, who had stayed behind with their new friends together with Kasumi.

“Ah Suzaku, thou and Haru can come, I don’t mind…but who exactly are those two others there?”

Crim asked that, glancing over to the black wolf and sheep Warbeast girls behind them…who responded by walking right up to Crim.

“Hahah, you’re really heartless with your elders, aren’t you our little pupil?”
“Right? Especially after aaaall that time we spent together.”

Hearing the pair’s teasing voices, everyone around them turned sharply to Crim, demanding a proper explanation.
She took a step back horrified…but she had a faint idea of what they meant.
Just to make sure, she quickly approached them to whisper to them. If her hunch was right, it would be best to not announce it freely.

“Wait, could you be… Kurono and Ranka?”
“Yes, there you go, little pupil.”
“Mhm, you go that right Crim!”

They were Haru’s classmates in Morinomiya High, who also worked as an actress and voice actress, true artists in the flesh.
Haru had invited them to join Suzaku’s party, since he was starting to struggle on his own.

“I still wish he would have asked us directly if he needed our help.”
“Mhm, I know. He’s always trying to act tactful but comes off as heartless.”
“Hah…hahah…I’m sorry. I really thought you’d be too busy…but I’m glad you agreed to come.”

Suzaku laughed nervously, trying to play it off…but the more people helping the better in the current situation.
So Crim happily accepted them into her party and thanked them for their help.

After a round of greetings and introductions between Lua Cheia and the new party members, they began discussing where to head next.

“Before we decide what route to take…dost anyone know where the other guilds headed to?”

The Crimson Blade Gates were in the western edge of the new area, and Crim’s group was still near there.
The old imperial capital was in the very center of the new area, so they could head in any direction they wanted…but the northern side was covered in snow, and inhabited by monsters accustomed to harsh environments, making it a very difficult place to traverse.
They could make a beeline for the capital, but Crim was mainly interested in the secondary mission to clear the Scars spreading the miasma.
After all her previous experiences with the development team, Crim was convinced that if they ignored that, things would get awful down the line.

“Yes! We got a call from Mei, all of Blueline is exploring the southern grasslands!”
“And the Holy Kingdom too. Those two Unions have the most people, so they’re combing through the bigger regions first.”

Hinagiku and Suzaku informed Crim of that.
Those two Unions had an abundance of members, so it made sense that they headed to the more open areas, used in the past as farmland. It was also easier to organize and coordinate large masses in such locations.

“The other guilds in our United Kingdoms went to check if there’s a Scar in the center, and then they’ll spread out.”

There also had been some talks within Crim’s Union while she was gone, which Kasumi reported on.
The Black Wolf Pack and Silver Wings had also decided to split off, wanting to investigate the west-southwest region.

“And it looks like Nord Glacier went north.”

Lycoris also had something to report.

“I swear, those guys for sure went to look for the strongest enemy…”
“Ahahah…probably yeah.”

Mountainous regions were often home to dragon-type enemies, ferocious carnivores capable of flight, swift and powerful beasts adapted to those harsh conditions.
Crim gave a stink eye to the distance, disgusted by their obsession with fighting, fully aware that they had picked that location *because* of those enemies, and Lycoris could not deny that either, just laughing awkwardly.
On the positive side, that meant everyone had spread out nicely without needing to come to an agreement first.

“Okay…let’s go in this direction then.”

After parsing all that information, Frey spread out a map…which Da’at Seyfert had secured in Castle Seyfert, showing the layout of the land from back in the times of the old empire…and pointed to a spot on it.
The Mining Town Redrock, the final station from the west-northwest line amongst the capital railroads that spread out like a spiderweb.
It was located deep in a valley carved by a river flowing down from the northern mountains, and was the town *that should have a railroad station* closest to Lua Cheia’s current location.
