A traveling merchant from the Republic.
The human who took care of Arje after she saved his life right after she was reincarnated.
He’s a bit taciturn, but he’s actually a pretty nice guy.
He was searching for Arje alongside Felnoute, and since Arje was also looking for him, they managed to meet up successfully.

Traveling Merchants are members of the Merchant Guild, and on the condition that they “belong to no country,” they are permitted to travel freely in and out of any nation.

While there is no issue with selling weapons to a country, activities that directly involve a nation’s affairs—such as espionage or sabotage—are prohibited; they cannot side with a country nor receive its backing.
On the other hand, they possess strong connections that transcend national borders. In a sense, they belong to a single “nation” known as the “Merchant Guild.”
For this reason, although Zeno hails from the Republic, he is almost never treated as a citizen of the Republic.

Mnemonics is a skill for remembering things well. Whether it’s words, down to every single syllable, or actions, down to the movement of a fingertip, it allows for precise memorization.
However, his skill level isn’t particularly high, so he can only memorize a few seconds of conscious activity. He mainly uses it during negotiations.

Shorthand is a skill for writing characters at high speed. At higher levels, one can write things other than characters, such as diagrams. But at this level, it’s limited to characters only.

Merchant Magic is a special form of magic passed down through the Merchant Guild that repurposes the anti-counterfeiting magic of Cyril coins into mana.
It temporarily grants a massive amount of mana, but as a result, the coins from which the mana has been extracted become nothing more than metal. It is, quite literally, the skill to “buy mana.”
For this reason, traveling merchants almost never use Merchant Magic. After all, they’re basically money-grubbers.

With her golden twin tails, girlish figure, and bat hairpin, she looks cute, but she’s actually been alive for nearly a century.

While she has a hedonistic and transitory… side to her personality, she’s not just that—she also has a surprisingly meticulous and conscientious side. She’s the type to be extra cautious and never push herself too hard.
She likes girls and hates men.

Her Bloodcraft is similar to Blood Arms, but she can also craft simple tools with it.

Blood Cage is a rare skill that allows her to contain living creatures within Blood Box. However, she cannot contain a subject without their consent.

She can create soldiers to her liking by partially replacing a monster’s body parts or brainwashing them. It seems she does this by applying dark magic and contract skills.

She took a liking to Arje and began chasing after her.
Known as the “Vampire Princess” and regarded as one of the unreasonable beings, she actually seems to be actively trying to be unreasonable.

While she excels at magic, her raw combat prowess is also high—she’s skilled at seizing an opponent’s opening and striking with precision.

A vampire’s bloodsucking can induce pleasure, pain, or a sensation of heat in the victim, depending on the vampire’s mental state.
In Elsie’s case, her love for those of the same sex is so strong that she inflicts overwhelming pleasure on her victims.
Since she dislikes men, it’s presumed she would inflict considerable pain on them when feeding, but since she herself refuses to drink men’s blood, this remains unknown.
