Mira’s description of the Secret Morality Police went on. Because of Meditorea’s particular economy, public morality was a key component in providing an enjoyable experience for all visitors. It was unavoidable that some visitors would try to push things too far.

It did not matter that they were paying customers, there were certain barriers that should not be crossed. All of the city’s workers were also important citizens after all. But if the rules were too restrictive, it could also have the effect of driving away visitors.

So a certain group was needed to monitor and tactfully reprimand such visitors. That group eventually became the Secret Morality Police.

With lie after lie, Mira made up everything and spoke of it as if it was true.

“So that was you…I had heard rumors, but I didn’t know they were true…”

After hearing all of that, Sally looked taken aback but also appeased. Knowing that Meditorea’s morals were being looked after this diligently was a welcome surprise for her.

At the same time, Mira was also shocked.

(Wait…what..? Rumors…rumors?)

Mira had come up with the Secret Morality Police as a way to deceive…convince Sally, everything was made up. But Sally had already heard rumors of something similar before.

If those rumors proved true, Mira could land herself in hot water for using their name without permission.

There was also the possibility that Sally was just trying to go along with it. Regardless, Mira had already started with that story so she had no choice but to commit to it.

“I don’t know what rumors you might have heard, but I’m a member of the Secret Morality Police, and I have a few things to discuss with that person you call the King.”

There was no point in worrying about those rumors too much at the moment, so Mira moved on to the next topic.

The King’s behavior was infamous amongst the escorts, holding no regard for the escort’s wellbeing, and going so far as to hurt them physically and emotionally. So she, as part of the Secret Morality Police, had to act.

The issue was that the King remained as a highly influential person in the red-light district, and knew the general movements of the Secret Morality Police. She had attempted countless times to get in contact, only for him to find a way to evade her.

“…I was really feeling like I would never get to him, when I overheard your conversation earlier. Then it dawned on me, if a direct approach won’t work, then maybe I can sneak in pretending to be one of you.”

She spoke of her grand genius idea at length.

The King was known for calling on a large number of escorts on a daily basis, so mixing in with them would give Mira the perfect chance to meet him. For that to succeed, she needed to stand in for someone with proper registration.

Sally was the perfect person for that. She was one of Miracle Heaven’s new hires, meaning the King had never seen her before, and would not suspect anything. Then, once she was face to face with him, he would finally meet his reckoning for all his past sins.

To finish things off, Mira added, “So what do you think, will you offer me your hand to aid in the protection of this city’s morals?”

“I’ll happily do it!”

It was an immediate response. She had completely made up her mind halfway through the conversation, as she really did not want to go herself either way.

Then she handed over the dispatch card from Miracle Heaven, which Mira would have to show the receptionist at the castle. The front of the card showcased the name of the establishment, and the rear had the client name and dispatch location.

‘Camelot Palace, King Room. Warren.’

Judging by that, the King’s name was Warren, not August. That did not particularly bother Mira, as she gladly thanked Sally and put the card in her pocket.

Her target’s name, August Gradin, one of Ira Muerte’s top leaders, had been found out through Nirvana’s vast and highly skilled information network, so it had to be his real name. Knowing his true occupation, it was no surprise that he would use a fake name in a place like this.

“Also take this. It’s one-size so I think it should fit.”

There was something else that Sally had to hand over to Mira, contained in a bag.

“Hmm, what is it?”

As far as Mira knew, she had everything she needed to get in, making her question the contents of the bag. Sally’s response came completely out of left field for Mira.

“It’s the designated outfit.”

Clothes, specifically chosen by the King of all perverts.

(What…is…this…)

She looked into the bag, finding a rather extreme outfit. A yukata mini-skirt combo. The staple dress of summer nights, cut extremely short, symbolizing both the heat of summer and the allure of bare legs.

Mira was still recovering from the shock, not having expected that to be part of the job too. But a man’s heart was always filled with courage, so Mira was ready to do anything it took.

“Alright, now about your role, I’d appreciate it if you could stay in this room for some time. We wouldn’t want you to be seen by someone you know, and reveal that you never went to the King’s place.”

Finally recovering from her shock, Mira made that request.

She wanted to avoid having her cover blown as much as possible. Any information leaking could end up alerting the King before she could apprehend him, making him question who had arrived at the castle.

She could even end up being driven away before seeing him. The best option was to keep Sally in the room, and as additional assurance, Mira let Wooftson off her embrace and placed him on the bed.

“If anything happens, my assistant there will help you, so don’t worry about anything.”

Just as she spoke, Wooftson stopped pretending to be a plushie and raised his head.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, woof.”

He greeted her with impeccable manners.

If anything happened, he would be able to figure out a solution, and he would also be able to keep an eye on Sally’s movements. That way Mira did not have to worry about sending him away, clearing things even more.

“No way..! He’s so cute! Wait, don’t tell me… Is he…is he a Cu Sith?!”

Seeing Wooftson move had startled her, while also filling her with excitement as she instantly fell in love with his cute looks.

“I’ve always loved dogs so much! This is like a dream come true!”

Her voice rang like that of a joyous child, and in the blink of an eye she had Wooftson between her arms.

Unlike Mira, she had a rather ample bosom, which soon enveloped Wooftson as he muttered, “This feels rather comforting, woof,” giving in to the hug.

Mira’s first reaction was jealousy of being in that position, but at least they were getting along. Sally’s love for dogs was more than evident too.

She did not question for a second why a Cu Sith would be in the Secret Morality Police, or what his role as assistant entailed. All that occupied her mind was Wooftson himself.

There was nothing for Mira to worry about leaving them together. Seeing that, she told them, “I’ll be going then, take care you two,” and stood up to leave.

“Leave this place to me, woof.”
“Okay, please punish the King for me too! Even better if you leave him impotent for life.”

Wooftson replied reassuringly, and Sally made a violent gripping and twisting gesture.

“S-Sure…”

A cold chill ran down Mira’s spine, not daring to imagine such a fate befalling anyone.

Their parting words over, the two began to happily play with each other. As refined as Wooftson’s manners were, he was still a dog fairy at heart, instantly becoming entranced and wagging his tail at the sight of a ball that Sally took out from somewhere.

Seeing that, Mira thought that it could be a good idea to play with him like that in the future too, and finally left the room as the ball began bouncing around.
