For Yae-hime, it was destined to be an extraordinary month. On April 1st, April Fools’ Day, Saint Demon World officially entered open beta. As closed beta players, she and Rakshasa had already begun laying their plans a day earlier, thoroughly scamming the newcomers of Novice Village 101.

In the end, Yae-hime killed the Wind Wolf King, secured the world’s first kill, and obtained the Reality Skill she had long dreamed of. It was a day of happiness. And a day of disaster.

‘The first world boss kill. The first Reality Skill… Two joys combined into one should have brought me even greater happiness. I was supposed to be enjoying a dreamlike moment of bliss, so why did I end up turning into a girl instead!?’

If Yae-hime had been given another chance to choose, she definitely would not have used that damned Saint Demon Roulette on April 1st!

However, if she hadn’t used it, there was a good chance she would have been captured by Wenzel’s subordinates and delivered to Sister Red, beginning an entirely different life.

Fate was just that unbelievable.

“……” As Rakshasa met Yae-hime’s gaze, her heartbeat suddenly quickened.

A loving gaze like this felt unexpectedly nice. She truly wished time could stop at this very moment. Unfortunately, things rarely went the way people wanted.

“What date was it when you first started drooling unconsciously in April?” Yae-hime asked.

Rakshasa thought for a moment before sending a text message.

Seeing the message, Yae-hime raised an eyebrow. On April 1st, she had brought something back from the game. The Reality Skill, Dream Transformation. And she had used it. Whether that had caused some kind of abnormal change on Aqua Blue Star, she had no idea. After all, she did not obtain the City of Chaos until much later.

Moreover, she had only recently learned that the City of Chaos’ ability to travel between the two worlds had an enormous impact on reality. As for whether bringing skills back had any effect, the answer was definitely yes. The real question was how significant that effect was.

‘No, that’s not right. Before me, someone had already brought back far more things from that world!’ Suddenly, Yae-hime remembered the game terminals. Those devices, which could never have been produced by modern technology, existed in overwhelming numbers.

The impact they brought was probably second only to the descent of the City of Chaos itself!

‘The recovery of Aqua Blue Star seems to have started even earlier than I imagined…’

Rakshasa nodded.

‘That’s not quite what I expected. I thought Rakshasa’s change was caused by the arrival of the City of Chaos. Could my guess have been wrong?’

“Think carefully. Did anything strange happen that day?”

Rakshasa’s face reddened slightly. She quickly typed a message with her right hand and sent it over.

“What got wet?” Yae-hime stared at the message, completely puzzled.

Just then, another message arrived on her phone.

“Oh, so that’s what you meant.” As Yae-hime spoke, she suddenly realized something was off. Before April, Rakshasa’s symptoms had only appeared once or twice a year. But since April began, it had already happened three times. And the symptoms had become much more severe.

Suddenly, Yae-hime thought of those giant insects. The giant mantis she had encountered for the first time had clearly been searching for something. Assuming they had been looking for Rakshasa… Then when had they discovered there was something unusual about her saliva?

‘The special fluid remaining inside Rakshasa’s body clearly contained far more energy than what could be extracted from the samples collected in the bucket. If my guess is correct, once those fluids leave her body, the energy contained within them gradually dissipates.’

At that moment, a flash of insight struck Yae-hime’s mind. “If it can’t be preserved for long, that means they only discovered it recently.” She quickly narrowed the timeframe to the first half of April and formed a hypothesis.

The game entered open beta. Spiritual aura began to recover. Rakshasa’s ability awakened. The City of Chaos descended, accelerating the recovery. Ancient creatures awakened. The insect race on Doom Island in the South Sea noticed Rakshasa and dispatched insect-men to search for her.

“No, that doesn’t make sense. If the insect race only awakened recently, how did they know what was happening in Cathay?”

Unless the insect race had awakened long ago and had already sent agents to infiltrate Cathay, quietly preparing for the revival… But how could that possibly be!?

Yae-hime shook her head and tossed the absurd thought out of her mind. After all, those insect-men only had the word “man” in their name. They were fundamentally different from humans and stood out like a sore thumb. How could they possibly infiltrate human society?

What she didn’t know was that one of her enemies, Red, looked almost indistinguishable from an ordinary human!

“If you ever start drooling unconsciously again, make sure to let me know immediately.” Yae-hime gave her a serious reminder.

Rakshasa nodded obediently, feeling secretly delighted inside. Even though she knew this constitution of hers was terrible, the thought that it would give her more opportunities to see Princess made it all feel worthwhile.

If Yae-hime knew what she was thinking right now, she would probably roll her eyes. ‘Miss, your constitution isn’t merely troublesome. It’s practically a calamity-attracting physique!’

Being targeted by the insect race was definitely not a good thing. But at this point, all they could do was take things one step at a time.

After chatting with Rakshasa for a while longer, Yae-hime left the rooftop and returned to the lobby on the first floor. Before Yae-hime appeared, both Mylene and Pixie had begun to feel like forgotten bystanders. After all, they had been standing there waiting for quite a long time.

“Sorry for making you wait so long. That’s my fault.” The moment Yae-hime saw the resentful looks on their faces, she immediately felt embarrassed.

“Not at all! Pixie and I didn’t think that!” Mylene said with a grin as she wrapped her arms around Yae-hime’s.

Pixie wanted to do the same, but business came first. “So, have you confirmed it?” she asked.

“Yes. I’ve confirmed it. It belongs to Rakshasa.” Yae-hime nodded. The answer shocked both of them. In their eyes, Rakshasa had never shown any obvious abnormalities.

“Her ability is rather special, and it’s beyond her control.” Yae-hime briefly explained her hypothesis to the two of them. Naturally, she kept the matter of the City of Chaos confidential for the time being.

After hearing her explanation, both women wore expressions of disbelief. But since the one saying it was Yae-hime, they had no choice but to believe her.

“Rakshasa is so pitiful…” Mylene sighed. As someone who also possessed a special constitution, she naturally understood the suffering involved. Fortunately, spiritual aura was now recovering, and with Yae-hime helping adjust her body, that suffering would eventually disappear.

“It looks like the security around Rakshasa will need to be upgraded,” Pixie said.

“You’re familiar with the people over there?” Yae-hime had been worrying about how to solve Rakshasa’s safety problem. Hearing those words, her eyes immediately lit up.
