The discussion between Crim and King Theodolite culminated with an agreement to end all hostilities that very day.
There was still a need to discuss the particulars of the agreement, which went on for quite a while…so in the end, it was only late at night, both in-game and in real life, that Crim and Setsuna returned to Nebel, together with Suzaku who had accompanied them.
As they went into Castle Seyfert, and headed to the stairs leading to the garden…
“Oh…Freya, and Rouge? Were you waiting for me to come back?”
“Yeah, welcome back, Crim.”
The two had been waiting there, alongside the Shabbat siblings who watched them concerned.
It was also way past Rouge’s usual bed time, evident from her current state, her head leaning on Freya’s shoulder while Hina and Lyco slept in her arms.
“She was properly awake just a moment ago… Rouge, look, Crim is finally back.”
Freya gently nudged Rouge, whose heavy eyelids opened slightly to see Crim.
“I’m back, Rouge.”
“Ah…Sis…sister…welcome…baaack…”
The last of Rouge’s strength spent, she gave in to her slumber, letting out long relaxed breaths.
“I’ll bring her in.”
“Thanks, Elohim. I’ll leave her in thine care.”
“No need to mention it.”
Elohim carefully lifted the sleeping Rouge together with the Doppelgangers Hina and Lyco, bringing them into the castle.
The other servant, Adonis, went with Crim and the rest, ready to serve them in their usual spot in the garden.
“Any news from Hinagiku..?”
“There’s still stuff to do at the shrine, so she’ll be busy tomorrow.”
“That sounds about right, and what about the prez and Lycoris?”
“She’s hanging out with her family tomorrow, so she had to log out early today.”
Crim had returned after everyone went offline, which made sense as soon it would be midnight. The only one left was…
“Where’s Frey?”
“Ah, he’s on a call with Akito. They’re going on and on about strategy and whatnot. I already told him forever ago that he should take a bath but he just says ‘in a bit’ and refuses to move.”
Freya was clearly not amused by the behavior of her twin brother.
Crim decided not to comment on that…and before they realized, they were already at their usual table.
“Ahh… We’re finally home!”
“Yes, we are… Sorry for dragging thou along for so long, Setsuna.”
“No need to apologize whatsoever, I’m used to this kind of job! I’m just glad I could be of use.”
“Regardless, I greatly appreciate it.”
“Eheheh…”
Setsuna giggled, receiving that praise, while Freya went to sit down at a bench with enough room for three, beckoning at Crim to sit next to her.
…Sneaking into enemy territory was an exhausting chore.
Spending a few days working as a shrine maiden had been hard work, followed right away by more things to do in-game, so Crim was thankful to Setsuna for coming along. At the same time, being home and able to relax quickly made Crim flop over tired.
“Ahahah… You’ve done a lot, Crim.”
“Mmm…”
Freya gently tugged on her, coaching Crim’s head to rest onto her lap, and Crim offered no resistance.
The softness below her welcomed her in, lulling her to sleep…but she still had things to do.
She resisted the temptation of slumber, telling Suzaku to also take a seat, who was watching them with a scowl.
As soon as he did, Adonis served him a cup of tea, and Crim opened up the conversation.
“So tell me…Suzaku, what are thy plans for after Da’at has been rescued?”
The question made Suzaku stop for a moment, his cup halfway to his lips. The true meaning of that question was obvious…she wanted to know with which side he would stand.
He let Crim’s stare linger for a moment…mulling the question over before giving an answer.
“…You know, I don’t like having to pick sides. I’ll just keep wandering around on my own.”
That meant he would not change his behavior.
He had helped Crim’s group many times in the past, but that was always by chance or due to the circumstances, he had never intended on being a long term member of Crim’s party.
…But there was still some room for changes.
“Though…after seeing him like that, I feel like I might be down to helping him if he’s in a pinch. I know I’m greatly indebted to you Demon Lords, so I’ll apologize ahead of time.”
“Heh, if that’s thine resolution, I shan’t complaint.”
Crim cackled loudly despite Suzaku’s conflicted words…and then seemed to remember something, as she spoke to the tree spirit peeking around the corner.
“Now, Da’at. How’s *that* coming along?”
“Very good, everything went smoothly…but are you sure about this?”
Da’at Seyfert trudged forward a bit, still a bit hesitant, and Crim nodded firmly.
“I’m sure. It belongs to Suzaku after all, it’s only right to return it.”
“I understand. In that case… Sir Suzaku, please take it.”
Saying that, Da’at turned to Suzaku, holding out a long object, around a meter and a half, which was tightly wrapped in cloth.
“…I really can’t thank you enough.”
“Heh, I’m glad to be of service.”
“Sir Suzaku, please take care of my sister.”
As Suzaku thanked them over and over again, Crim just chuckled and nodded, while Da’at bowed deeply to him, knowing how much he cared for Da’at Criferd.

…The night went on, also getting quite late in the real world, leading to more people logging out and their tea party came to an end.
It was also night time in Destiny Unchain Online, so Adonis and Da’at went to sleep as well. The garden was left in silence…with only Crim and Freya remaining there.
“…Everything’s been taken care of now, we can truly focus only getting ready to head to the old capital.”
“Heheh, good job, Crim.”
Their conversation wound down for a moment, Freya gently combing through Crim’s white hair, as her mind was further consumed by drowsiness.
“…Crim, what do you want to do now?”
“Right now…I want some of your blood.”
Freya’s eyes fluttered a bit, shocked to hear Crim speak about that so directly, but then broke into a smile and readily nodded.
“And do you mean in-game? Or…on the other side?”
“Hm…both are good.”
“Oh…you’re being rather greedy today, aren’t you Crim? But mm, it’s okay, come.”
As soon as Freya gave her permission, the dam holding Crim’s urges back broke apart, driving her in a feverish rush.
No one else was in the garden of Castle Seyfert as Crim got up, pushing down Freya beneath her onto the bench.
There was no resistance from Freya, laying down on the bench, and even opened her arms to welcome her in.
Crim fretfully reached for the buttons on Freya’s robe, nervously untying a good number of them.
The full moon overhead gave a clear view of Freya’s slender neck and collarbones, revealed amidst her disarrayed robes.
That sight only stirred Crim’s urges further, frantically pressing her face against Freya’s skin…and letting her small undeveloped fangs pierce through that soft skin…
As the night went on…the sounds of something wet leaking, being licked, and swallowed, together with soft muted moans from two girls, heard only by the late breeze and flowers of the garden…
