Hearing that, the two of them looked at Marina in surprise for a brief moment, but their brows quickly tightened in frustration, and they averted their gazes.

“But! But if it were me…! Everything I have belongs to Lord Halbert! The thought of offering myself to anyone other than Lord Halbert… I can’t even imagine it!”
“Even if someone told me to offer myself up…!” Joel muttered bitterly, turning her face away.
“What a hopeless girl…” Marina sighed. “Here, have a little more.”

Saying that, Marina reached toward the small round table beside the bed. The table, with its black surface, held a large glass decanter. At the bottom of the container, a red liquid had collected. There was only enough left for one or two glasses, a mere trace compared to the decanter’s full capacity.

Above the open mouth of the decanter hung a single chain. The chain was about a meter long, and it extended upward from a much larger mass of tightly coiled chains above it.

With one hand still resting on the decanter, Marina narrowed her eyes and glanced at the bundle of chains, which resembled a cocoon wrapped around something hidden within. Then the chains began to move, twisting and tightening as though squeezing their captive. A sound like something being crushed leaked from within the chains. Along the hanging chain, red liquid, almost as if it had been wrung out, began dripping into the decanter, slowly filling it.

“…So this is the last of it, I suppose.”

Marina murmured as she watched the amount, about one glassful, collect inside the container. Still holding the decanter, Marina straddled Joel’s body. With a slick, deliberate motion, she shifted herself closer until she was positioned over her chest.

“Now, make sure you catch it properly, okay?”

As she spoke, Marina tilted the decanter above Joel’s face, allowing the red liquid to fall slowly. Unable to sit up fully with her chest restrained, Joel stretched her neck and opened her mouth wide to receive it. Her red tongue extended as well, determined not to let even a single drop go to waste.

Marina toyed with her, rotating the decanter as she poured, deliberately making her wait as the liquid trickled down. Joel swallowed repeatedly, her throat moving as she drank the liquid filling her mouth, savoring it as it slowly disappeared.

Even so, some spilled from her lips. Electra, unwilling to waste any of it, hurriedly leaned in and licked away every drop that fell. Soon, she followed the stream itself, extending her tongue directly toward where the liquid was being poured.

Seeing this, Marina narrowed her eyes and muttered, “You really are hopeless.” She took the small amount remaining in the decanter into her own mouth. After tossing aside the now-empty decanter, she placed both hands on Electra’s head and guided her toward her lap as she sat on the bed.
With Electra’s head tilted upward on Marina’s thighs, Marina let the red liquid in her mouth drip down toward her.

Electra caught it eagerly, swallowing every drop. But almost immediately, dissatisfied with merely receiving it that way, she lifted her head and pressed her lips directly against Marina’s, greedily taking what remained. As the two women indulged in one another, Joel licked away the red droplets falling from their mouths, reaching toward them as though asking to share in it as well. On the crimson sheets, streams of silver, gold, and black intertwined and melted together. Inside the red canopy, the air was heavy with the overwhelming scent of blood, bodies, and women. Heated voices echoed through the chamber, tangled together in the darkness.

With a dull clatter, the empty decanter that had fallen onto the floor was placed upon the black round table. At the sudden presence that appeared, the three women instantly pulled away from one another and retreated across the bed.

“Were you enjoying yourselves…?”

A woman wearing a garnet dress, a red deeper than blood itself, spoke with a calm gaze so cold and still that it seemed to freeze the air around them.

“C-Clarimonde…”

Marina whispered the name while supporting herself on all fours atop the bed, slowly backing away like a wary beast as she looked up at Clarimonde. Clarimonde quietly shifted her gaze from the decanter on the table toward the three figures on the bed.

Her shining platinum-blonde hair parted beautifully from the crown of her head, flowing down both sides and falling over her chest, its brilliance only seeming to increase. The garnet dress wrapped around her porcelain-white skin revealed her shoulders and neckline, displaying her imposing figure without restraint. Her sculpted, statue-like features held sharp, narrow eyes that coldly looked down upon the three on the bed.

Marina, who had been staring up at the unreal beauty of Clarimonde’s face, realized for a moment that she had been captivated by her appearance. She immediately snapped back to reality, bit her lip in frustration, and looked away.

Clarimonde’s sky-blue eyes began to shine brighter, eventually transforming into a radiant golden glow. Under that golden gaze, the three women huddled together on the red sheets, retreating even farther.

“I thought it was about time for the final preparations, so I came to check on your progress.”

Clarimonde’s voice flowed gently, sweet and soft like the delicate ringing of a bell. The women felt a chill run down their spines at those words. They remained silent, pressed close together, and listened.

Marina stepped down from the bed and stood upright. The chiton-like clothing she had been wearing slipped smoothly from her body and fell to the floor. With nothing covering her body, she moved forward one step at a time, her long silver-white hair swaying behind her. From the shadow beneath her feet, figures dressed entirely in white emerged, beings resembling maids. The white-clad maids gently brushed Marina’s hair, gathered it together, and began dressing her in her attire.

Clarimonde was no longer there. The tense atmosphere that had filled the room disappeared, and the women climbed down from the bed one after another, beginning to prepare themselves. Electra and Joel were also standing there with their bare skin exposed, while the white maids diligently assisted them in getting dressed.

“Indeed, it is already well past midnight.”

As the straps of her bondage outfit were tightened, pressing into her flesh, Marina let out a small “aah” sound and muttered those words.

“We cannot keep our guests waiting for too long. Besides, there were some rather delicious-looking… beautiful men present as well…”

While slipping into her black nightdress, Electra ran her tongue along her finger and smiled seductively.

“Electra… please tell me you’re not planning to jump on every man you see tonight?”

Joel sighed as she spoke to Electra, her hair being tied back, and a long ribbon hanging down from it.

“Oh? To be united with a fine man is a woman’s greatest desire, is it not?”
“That doesn’t mean you have to spend three or four days like when we wiped out those orc settlements or raided the homes of those ogres.”
“There is nothing more wonderful than men who are about to die, Joel. To embrace them and welcome them in their final moments… Ah, it is the height of bliss.”

Electra wrapped her arms around herself, running her long tongue across her lips as she spoke with an ecstatic expression. Joel looked back at her with a bewildered expression.

“I don’t think I’d be happy if I was getting it on with an orc…”
“Joel, are you planning on continuing to take strikes with nothing but that thin clothing protecting you? No matter how enjoyable it may be… do try to show some restraint.”

Electra spoke with a sigh, then whispered, “Such a beautiful body…” as she ran her fingertips across Joel’s exposed abdomen. Joel’s body twitched slightly at the movement of Electra’s fingers, but she quickly turned away, pouting her lips in embarrassment. “What’s wrong with it…” she muttered quietly.

“Now, if you are finished preparing, shall we go? If we do not hurry, dawn will arrive. Our guests are eagerly waiting for us.”

Marina wrapped her arms around the waists of the two beside her and spoke cheerfully. The three exchanged glances, then smiled at one another with amusement. Like guests heading toward a dazzling social gathering, they stepped forward together with lighthearted strides.

A gust of wind swept through the red canopy. The white-clad maids bowed deeply toward the exit of the tent. Aside from the faint rustling of the wind, there was no sound within the canopy. Still bowing, the white maids slowly sank back into the shadows beneath their feet.

With no sound and no movement remaining, the red canopy stood silently within the black cavern. However, from the depths of the cave came a horrifying scent of blood, carried by a wind that seemed to bear death itself.

From the deepest reaches of the cavern echoed the sounds of a daughter who served the gods, her sobs and screams filled with fear and despair, mixed with trembling cries of pleasure that rose and fell in broken fragments. Eventually, the wind carrying that despair escaped from the cavern and was swallowed by the countless voices of resentment belonging to the dead that filled the plains.

This place was the end of all things for the living. A domain of the dead, where no living being could continue to exist.
