Crim shouted almost in desperation, and Rage put his hands together to apologize.
Around them, in the audience seats, were all the people involved with Worldgate Online in the past, who all watched with curiosity at the arena.

…Around the time the dinner party was wrapping up and the guests were mainly talking with each other, Kou’s group stood up to ask Reiji if they could go train…and somehow it ended like that.

“Well, we might as well stress test the server traffic too.”
“Yes, just show us your best.”

Amari and Sora had no issue whatsoever with that…and so almost everyone in the vacation house went to watch the fight.
Seeing that they were all in the colosseum audience, like they were watching some spectacle, Crim let out a sigh.
Meanwhile in the arena there were…Rage, and a few others.

There was a female knight with black hair, a Drake just like Sorleon, wearing full armor, a shield in one hand, and a shortsword in the other. She was Kuga Ayame, or known as Sol in-game.
Next to her was a Warbeast, with vibrant blonde hair, being of a monkey sub-species that was just as rare as silver foxes. His only weapons were gauntlets, and most of his equipment was also focused on high mobility.
Three of the Four Emperors stood there, giving off a menacing air as they waited for their challengers.

“Aww…I wanted to be there too…”
“You always lose control when you get excited, so it’s safer this way, mother.”
“Ahahah… Kikyo, I get the feeling that you’d end up scarring those kids way too much, so maybe another time…”

Over in the audience, clearly unhappy about being left out, was a silver fox just like Hinagiku. But unlike her, this one wore a kimono that heavily accentuated her voluptuous body. That was Kikyo, Hinagiku’s mother.
Hinagiku and Iris were sitting next to her, who grimaced a little at the thought of her fighting, and had some harsh words.
Meanwhile Lycoris was a bit further back, very engaged in a conversation with Suzaku’s father Scar, who was also a rifle user with bright red hair.
Frey and Reinhard, the rear guard, had taken over a different section of the audience together with a handsome elf, Kazami Makoto’s avatar Pholus, and Sorleon’s mother Miriam.

“Akito, why don’t you go train with them as well? Maybe that will fix some of your cowardly tendencies.”
“Ahahah, I’m good. I’m not really the sporty type. Also speak for yourself first.”

Both of them were smiling, but it was clear something darker was hiding underneath, and Mei had to step in to keep them in check, sighing “Why do you two have to always be bickering like this,” while Xinglu watched from a few steps away, also looking concerned.
Other than them, Julia, Hayato, Yukina, and the rest were all sitting in anticipation of the fight.

Crim was almost jealous of that audience’s excitement, but decided to focus on the arena, and the group ready to face her.
This time Crim and Suzaku were together, and since their opponents had a knight with a shield, Sol, they also had Freya join the fight.

“Okay, so I guess I’ll be going against that elf with the girl then?”
“Y-Yes, thank you for the opportunity, Ayame!”
“Just make sure you pay good attention and you’ll learn.”

Saying that, Sol and Freya stepped aside…leaving Crim and Suzaku against the other two.
These did not show any signs of being gentle with their teachings like Sol, instead fully intending to mercilessly defeat Crim and Suzaku.

“Well, are you two ready?”
“We’ll do a 2v2 tag team match, you can decide who’ll go against who at the start, but don’t be surprised if we decide to switch places too.”

As they stood ready to fight, Crim and Suzaku stepped forward with determination, also holding their weapons ready.

“”…We’re ready!””

With their resolute shout…the Swordmaster and Sluggermaster rushed in ominously…
