**Alice** — The protagonist. Age 7 (at the end of this chapter). A fluffy, soft-furred wolf.
She is the younger twin sister of a silver wolfen and retains memories of her past life as a Japanese boy.
She possesses both an unfathomable aptitude for alchemy and an unfathomable frailty.
Although her past-life memories have helped her adapt, she is naturally airheaded and clueless.
She is bad at studying, hopeless at sports, and has almost no mana.

“Lux Originis (Primordial Light)”
A lantern-shaped Divine Relic that can project the shadows of imagined fantasy into the world. No one but Alice can touch it.

“False Code: Ame-no-Murakumo”
A shadow of one of the Three Sacred Treasures, Ame-no-Murakumo. Only Alice and Sufi can touch it.
While it holds high status as a mythical artifact and symbol of royal authority, it has no particular legends associated with it as a weapon.
Its current ability is simply that it “holds a higher divine status than most gods.”

“Beam Rifle (Tentative)”
A gun recovered from a UFO; it can fire beams. Four rounds remain.

“Amazing Pocket”
A black, crescent-shaped, cloth-like pocket that can be attached anywhere.
Its contents connect to a mysterious space; its maximum capacity has not been confirmed.

“404 Key”
A key that unlocks a door leading to a specific apartment room in Tokyo, Japan.
It is said that anyone who enters that room by any other means will go missing.
It is currently used in conjunction with a specially constructed door.

**Sufi** — Alice’s older sister. Age 7 (at the end of this chapter). A fluffy, soft-furred wolf.
The older twin sister of the silver wolfen, she is a responsible young girl.
A true genius who shows talent in everything.
Because she possesses immense mana, she struggles only with controlling it.
She dotes on her only younger sister more than anyone could imagine.
However, she often has to hold back for her sister’s sake, which sometimes makes her sharp-tongued.
She hates losing and is always competing with Noche.
She is better at studying than Alice.

**Noche** — Leader (tentative). 8 years old (at the end of this chapter). A black cat girl.
A black felician girl. She has struggled because of her black fur, which is often considered an ill omen.
As a result, she is a bit jaded, but thanks to her late mother’s upbringing, she possesses kindness and sincerity that lead her to care for the weak.
After Filia found her, she met the twins, grew close to them, and set out on a journey together.
Her true personality is competitive and cheerful; she loves to be the center of attention, is easygoing, and hates to lose.
She is always competing with Sufi.

**Filia** — Age 9 (at the end of this chapter). A rabbit beastfolk.
A lepician girl with cherry-blonde hair.
She is the oldest member of the group and is relatively composed.
She is very caring and, though timid, possesses the courage to act for her companions.
Due to her lower combat prowess, she often serves as Alice’s porter.
She is highly skilled at housework, well-mannered, and possesses common sense.
In a sense, she is the backbone of the group.

“Mace”
A bludgeoning weapon crafted by Alice, made of iron.
In terms of craftsmanship, it ranks in the lower-middle range among human-made items.

**Character List (Side)**

**Wasel Haumass**
An elderly alchemist who took in and raised Alice and Sufi.
He was an outstanding alchemist of the 9th rank, and was considered a likely candidate to reach the 10th rank.
By the time he took in the twins, he was already suffering from an illness and had only a short time left to live.
He managed to cling to life and raise the twins, but died of his illness just before the main story begins.
He deeply regretted that, in the end, he had effectively abandoned the twins.

**Philip**
4th-Rank alchemist, assistant branch master.
The leader of the Forligen Branch. His specialty is pharmacology.
He holds the patents (or something close to it) for several new drugs.
It seems he received a favor from Haumass in his youth, and he treats the twins kindly.

**George**
2nd-Rank Alchemist, Head of the Department of Pharmacy.
An alchemist in charge of the pharmacy division at the Forligen Branch of the Alchemists’ Guild.
He also treated Alice and the others kindly.

**Sister Anansha**
A follower of the God of Light, former Templar Knight, and member of the Papal faction.
A nun who runs an orphanage in the town of Forligen.
She belongs to a sect known as the “Original Text Faction” and does not hold racist views.
She thoroughly instilled this philosophy in the children under her care.
She is compatible with the artifact known as the Shield of Salvation and has been entrusted with it by the Pope.
She is usually clumsy and gentle, but she is scary when angered.

**The Town Children**
The children whom Sufi and the others met.
**Nick**: The leader of the orphanage children; a level-headed boy.
**Midd**: A boy the same age as Nick; they have a rivalry.
**Sena**: A girl. She’s aiming for a wealthy husband, but she has a crush on Nick.
**Misa**: Midd’s younger sister; like Sena, she’s aiming for a wealthy husband.
They live in an orphanage and, having been raised by the Sister, have no prejudice against beastmen.
**Zig**: A boy of middling age at the orphanage; he keeps pestering Alice.
**Vade**: The butcher’s son; he keeps pestering the twins, perhaps because he’s interested in them. He wants to be popular but lacks the talent for it.

**Langbert Hardie**
Captain of the Knights, a man who has endured many hardships.
A young man serving as the commander of the domain’s knight corps, formed by the lord who governs the town of Forligen.
He excels at swordsmanship to the point where ordinary adventurers are no match for him.

**Khaleed**
B-Rank Adventurer, 3rd-Rank Alchemist.
A traveling alchemist specializing in archaeology.
He is highly skilled among young alchemists and possesses formidable combat prowess.
He enjoys the deep trust of headquarters, but his frequent requests to run errands are a source of frustration.

**Wire Man**
An unknown entity who calls himself a god. He is a humanoid Unknown and an acquaintance of Alice from her past life.
He enjoys adopting an attitude that belittles not only humans but even gods, as well as making mocking remarks.

Character List (Enemies)

**Mysterious Nun**
A knight of the Nameless Order.
A knight belonging to the Cardinal faction’s military branch, specializing in the Inquisition.
She committed suicide after drinking the blood of a god, transforming into a monstrous form and rampaging.

**Divine Soldier**
A monster that has gained pseudo-immortality by receiving the blood of a god.
Its immortality was compromised after being struck by the False Code: Ame-no-Murakumo.
