The boss still had around 140,000 HP remaining. And there was roughly a twenty-second interval between each time it consumed a Frostcrystal Ore.

If what Shiu said was correct, then before the boss recovered back to 200,000 HP, it wouldn’t retaliate at all. Perhaps this would become the perfect breakthrough point.

The mobs had already been lured away by the others and wouldn’t respawn anytime soon. An absolutely perfect damage window. Zane had only made this decision after careful consideration. Or something like that…

The white wolf had no intention of stopping. Zane’s gaze sharpened, and from the Elemental Horn hidden atop his head, violent wind elements burst forth, forming yet another Tempest Field!

Stepping firmly atop the Wraithfire Boots, Starry stabilized her footing, raised the Autumn Moon Sword high, and unleashed Triple Frenzy Slash!

A surging, overwhelming aura exploded outward as terrifying force radiated from the blade itself. Together with the first strike of Autumn Strike, the sword came crashing down viciously onto the giant’s blood-red wound.

The sword’s momentum continued unabated as it carved deep into the boss’ leg, triggering a horrifying weak point hit!

‘So Rend can be used like this too!?’ By relentlessly attacking a wound created through skills, he could forcibly turn the struck area into a temporary weak point. In that instant, countless new combat applications flashed through Zane’s mind.

“ROOOAR!!!” The Frostcrystal Giant roared furiously in pain, yet it could only glare at the girl and wolf in rage, completely incapable of counterattacking, as though some invisible restriction bound it in place.

The moment his skill combo ended, Zane decisively switched back into Wishkeeper form.

Meditation + Blood Sacrifice!

Zane’s HP instantly dropped by 35%. But his MP had also recovered back into a healthy range. The blonde girl softly chanted, “Invoke: Blazing Fire!”

Within just a few short seconds, the Frostcrystal Giant’s HP had been hammered all the way down to 8%. At last, it let out a mournful cry and collapsed to the ground, finally falling out of range of both the Tempest Fields and the Blazing Fire.

Zane’s eyes lit up. He hadn’t expected their full burst damage to already be capable of dealing over 30% of a boss’ HP almost instantly.

The fallen boss casually grabbed another chunk of ore and tried shoving it into its mouth.

‘Holy s̲h̲i̲t̲, you really can eat nonstop, huh!?’ Zane and Starry charged forward simultaneously, unleashing Magic Swordsmanship and Blade Dance together!

It still managed to swallow the ore. But it wasn’t a big problem. A little more damage and the boss would be finished!

“Zane, what the hell are you doing!? Hurry back and support us already, the pets are almost wiped out!” Shiu shouted anxiously. Without a tank holding aggro, the backline classes were being chased everywhere. Even Lordsey and the Electrobunny couldn’t withstand the focused fire and had already been forced back into the Pet Space.

And aside from the current mobs, new ones were already beginning to form again!

“Just hold on a little longer, almost done!” Zane casually replied, though the Mana Blade in his hand never stopped moving.

Ten seconds later, empowered by Invoke: Spirit’s Heart, Starry drove her sword straight through the boss’ chest, wiping out its final sliver of HP.

The giant’s massive body slowly dissipated into particles, leaving only a pile of loot scattered across the ground.

‘A title!?’

He never expected killing the boss would also reward a hidden title. And although 3% didn’t sound particularly high, peak damage output was often built up through countless stacked equipment modifiers. Besides, ever since the server launched, Zane had only ever seen two titles before.

At that moment, Dukeette suddenly cried out while scrolling through the system logs. “Look at the combat records!”

“…” Shiu stared at the damage log and let out a long sigh. “You absolute freak…”

The girls, however, were focused on something entirely different. YoyoPink exclaimed in surprise, “I got a title called Giant Slayer!”

“Me too! And there’s also 25 Reputation Points! This is my first time ever getting something like this!” DumbCitrus chimed in excitedly.

“My guess…” Dukeette analyzed, “is that this happened because Zanny and Starry force-killed the boss before the mechanic fully triggered. Though honestly, it doesn’t really benefit me much.”

“We can discuss that later. So, who’s looting the drops?” Zane asked.

“Me! Me!” DumbCitrus volunteered enthusiastically.

“Hm? Stupid Orange, don’t tell me you’re about to turn a Unique drop into Common trash?”

“As if! Just watch, I’m definitely pulling a Unique item!” she declared confidently as she strode forward. But the instant her hand touched the equipment, she froze.

“A Rare item?” Zane asked in surprise.

DumbCitrus shook her head and grabbed the item into her hands. “Even though this helmet is only Common grade… it actually has a very…”

“Bad luck magnet.”
“…rare…”
“Walking bad luck.”
“…kind of…”
“RNG reaper.”
“That’s enough already!”

In the end, Zane personally handled the remaining loot. After all, those 6 points of Luck on his stats weren’t fake.

Altogether, they obtained two pieces from the Brilliant Frostcrystal set: a tank helmet and a healer shoulderpad, along with three Rare items. Not a single Unique item was in sight.

They distributed the equipment on the spot. Since the helmet conflicted with the Elemental Horn slot, Zane couldn’t be bothered using it and simply decided to leave it for Endless Sea instead.

Aside from the equipment, the boss had also dropped a special item.
