“Regarding the anomaly over in India, I remember it only caused a massive impact within India itself.” After dismissing the image of the Nine Cauldrons, Yae-hime turned her attention to the entry labeled [Black Rainstorm in India].

Under normal circumstances, black rain was usually caused by severe environmental pollution. However, India’s black rain was clearly not something of that nature. The scale alone was far too massive, covering nearly half the country.

“Since it won’t affect this place, I’ll leave it alone for now.” Removing the image, Yae-hime looked toward [Violent Eruption of Solflare Volcano]. “The picture isn’t very clear, but at the moment of the eruption, it feels like some kind of aura erupted together with it.”

She did not know much about Solflare Volcano in the United States. In her previous life, both her status and horizons had been limited. She had never been in a position to investigate matters like these in depth.

To put it bluntly, back then she had been no different from the internet users of today, only capable of making random guesses. But things were different now. If she wanted to investigate the situation there, it would be absurdly easy.

After tapping several times on the virtual screen, recovery data from Aqua Blue Star immediately appeared before her. She filtered out the data from the locations with the most drastic fluctuations and quickly discovered Solflare’s anomaly.

“After the volcanic eruption, the readings here skyrocketed explosively and eventually transformed into a brand-new anomaly point. That aura that erupted from within was probably spiritual energy.”

Clearly, this place had become a blessed land. Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with Yae-hime. Just as she dismissed the image and prepared to erase the data as well, an unexpected set of readings suddenly caught her attention.

“Was this anomaly point in Cathay always this outrageous before?” After checking through the previous data records, Yae-hime could not help sucking in a sharp breath. “Gasp! The spiritual energy actually increased tenfold!”

Such a terrifying surge left her both shocked and uneasy. Opening the map for comparison, Yae-hime quickly narrowed down the location of the anomaly point. Dragonspine Abyss!

“This place seemed to have once been one of the sacred lands of Cathay’s ancestors… Wait, could it be that the Nine Cauldrons sank there!?” A flash of realization streaked through her mind, causing her to exclaim in surprise.

This was not some baseless speculation. The Dragonspine Abyss had only undergone such an intense transformation after the phantom image of the Nine Cauldrons appeared.

Compared to the other anomaly points throughout Cathay, including the earthly paradise of Kun Ruins, the changes within the Dragonspine Abyss were by far the most violent. As such, the possibility that the Nine Cauldrons were there was extremely high.

Of course, this was merely Yae-hime’s conjecture. Whether they were truly there or not could only be confirmed through a personal investigation. Unfortunately, she simply did not have the time to travel somewhere that far away.

Moreover, the place had remained shrouded in mystery since ancient times. No one knew what dangers lurked within.

“Once I become stronger and have more time to spare, I’ll head there and search for treasure.” After drawing a circle around Dragonspine Abyss, Yae-hime shifted her attention toward the insect infestation in the South Sea region. “Could the insects overseas have some connection to the giant bugs in Roc City?”

She stared at the disaster photos, her delicate brows knitting slightly together.

“Master, what giant bugs?” At that moment, Vera 1 walked over from the living room after finishing her late-night snack.
“Those giant mantises from before,” Yae-hime said.
“Master suspects these insects are related to the giant mantises?” Vera 1 stood obediently beside her.
“Yes. I suspect those giant mantises entered Cathay from the South Sea region.” Yae-hime patted the mattress, signaling for her to sit down.

Vera 1 did not stand on ceremony and immediately sat beside Yae-hime before speaking, “That possibility is very high. I heard there’s a Doom Island over there, and the island is filled with poisonous insects. Those giant mantises may very well have come from Doom Island.”

Hearing this, Yae-hime’s expression changed. “Tell me the details.”

“Yes. It’s like this…” Vera 1 revealed everything she knew. The information was more or less the same as what that human trafficker had previously mentioned.

“Terrifying giant insects…” Yae-hime narrowed her eyes slightly as she gazed southward. Her sharp gaze seemed to pierce straight through the walls, reaching the distant island far across the sea.

In her eyes, both those giant insects and the insectmen were extremely dangerous existences. Moreover, they were far too close to Cathay. If some kind of mutation were to occur, it would likely bring a catastrophic disaster upon this land.

She did not care how chaotic the overseas regions became. But Cathay could not fall into chaos.

“No. 1, when you have spare time, keep an eye on the situation in the South Sea region for me. Especially anything related to insects.” Yae-hime instructed.

“Understood, Master.” Vera 1 nodded. Then she added, “Oh right, Master, a Grandmaster arrived in Roc City today.”

“Who?”

“Dominus from Dragonbane Mountain in Jinxi Province,” Vera 1 replied.

“I don’t recognize the name, but Dragonbane Mountain in Jinxi… sounds somewhat familiar.” Yae-hime said.

“Master, not long ago you extorted… no, I mean, you asked Dominus for a bit of medical compensation.” Halfway through her sentence, Vera 1 hurriedly corrected herself.

The moment she heard the words ‘medical compensation,’ Yae-hime immediately recalled Glory Entertainment Center. And with it came the memory of Hank and Doug. “So it’s that old man. Did he come to Roc City seeking revenge against me?”

Although she found it somewhat troublesome, if the other party had truly come for revenge, then she would simply deal with him personally. That was what Yae-hime thought.

However, Vera 1 shook her head. “No, Master. He came to Roc City to challenge Ronald.”

“To challenge Old Man Tian? Do they have some sort of grudge?” Yae-hime asked in surprise. Logically speaking, shouldn’t he have challenged her instead? After all, it was she who had crippled his precious disciple. Not only that, she had even extorted a hefty sum afterward.

Most people would never be able to swallow such humiliation, much less a Grandmaster.

“I’m not sure about the details either. Maybe they formed some kind of feud in the past.” Vera 1 said.

“This Old Man Tian really has enemies everywhere.” Yae-hime chuckled softly.

“As one of Cathay’s heroes, having many enemies is perfectly normal.” Vera 1 pursed her cherry lips slightly. “Master, their duel is about to begin. Do you want to watch?”

“Hm? Is this a public Grandmaster battle?” Yae-hime tilted her head slightly, puzzled.

“Nope. I know where they’re fighting, and I already hacked all the nearby surveillance cameras.” Vera 1 smiled.

“Watching won’t hurt.” She was idle anyway. Yae-hime added casually. To her, Grandmasters at the level of Ronald and Dominus could be dealt with using just one hand. Naturally, a battle between them would not offer much entertainment value. If she were not so bored, Yae-hime truly would not have been interested in spectating.

“Then I’ll start the livestream right away.” Vera 1 extended her hand and lightly tapped the virtual screen in the air. Her fingers danced rapidly across the interface in a blur of swift operations.

The next moment, the scene atop Mount Azure Dragon appeared on the virtual display.

“Old Man Tian and Xina… Hm? Why isn’t Mylene there?” Four figures stood upon the spacious summit platform. Yae-hime recognized Ronald and Xina at a glance. As for the other two, she did not recognize them at all.

However, judging from the Tang suit and imposing aura, the elderly man was undoubtedly Dominus. The young man beside him was probably some disciple or junior.

What puzzled Yae-hime was that Mylene had not followed them there. Was it because she had absolute confidence in Old Man Tian, or because she simply had no idea this duel was happening?
