“Other than that, were there any other abnormal situations?” Yae-hime lightly bit her cherry lips as she looked toward the Vera clones. She needed more information to determine whether her guess was right or wrong.

In truth, just knowing when the anomalies had started was already enough to practically confirm it.

“Yes, Master. After that, I gathered a lot of information regarding the world’s mutations.” Vera 1 said.

“World mutations?” Yae-hime asked in confusion. She vaguely recalled something, yet her heart kept rejecting the possibility. However, the moment Vera 1 displayed all the information before her… It felt as though her heart and mind had both been struck by a massive hammer.

Whether it was Cathay’s Nine Cauldrons appearing across the skies, the sea of blood boiling over the Vatican, or the collapse of the polar icebergs… They were all phenomena she had witnessed in her previous life.

The difference was that the timing of these phenomena was completely different this time.

“……”

Looking at the dates when those phenomena had been discovered, Yae-hime felt a splitting headache coming on. They had actually appeared almost simultaneously! And that timing just so happened to coincide with when she summoned the City of Chaos back to the Saint Demon World.

The instant her shabby little city had left this world, all those heavenly anomalies had erupted together. Even thinking with her toes, she could figure out what had caused it.

“This is the City of Chaos’s fault… no, it’s my fault.” Staring at the images of those mutations, Yae-hime said with a pale face. There was no doubt about it. It was because she had brought the City of Chaos here that this world had begun awakening ahead of schedule.

As for why it produced such an effect, she could not understand it for the moment. Clearly, she had merely brought the City of Chaos from the Saint Demon World…

‘No, Little Blue once said this planet possessed some sort of unusual defense. The City of Chaos forcefully broke through that layer of protection when it descended into this world, triggering the initial awakening. And in a certain sense, the synchronization between the two worlds had already begun. Through the City of Chaos, a connecting passage had been opened!’

At that thought, Yae-hime felt chills crawl all over her body. Her unintentional actions had actually accelerated the process of the worlds connecting!

‘The faster Aqua Blue Star awakens, the closer its relationship with the Saint Demon World becomes…’ If Yae-hime’s guess was correct, then once the City of Chaos returned again, this process would become even faster and more intense.

Seeing their master’s face growing increasingly pale, the Vera clones could not help but become worried. After a long while, Yae-hime finally regained her composure. She looked at the five little girls and smiled.

“You’ve all done well. I’ll have Chef One make something delicious for you.”

Hearing this, the five little girls immediately became overjoyed.

Watching their reactions made Yae-hime feel strangely healed inside. At the same time, her mood became considerably lighter. When she had arranged for them to stay here, Yae-hime had not been entirely at ease.

After all, without herself and Little Blue watching over them, no one could guarantee whether any of the five might eventually develop ulterior motives. But now, through her perception of their life energy, Yae-hime already knew that they harbored no rebellious thoughts at all and wholeheartedly served only her.

After instructing Chef One, she left the spacious stairwell and stepped out onto the balcony.

“After connecting all the information currently known, I’ve reached a conclusion. That is, my reincarnation has already severely altered this world.”

The night wind swept past, scattering her beautiful hair and swallowing her quiet voice. Looking ahead, she could see the city’s dazzling lights. Even though the night had grown deep, this sleepless city remained as lively as ever.

“The time I have left… may not be much anymore.” Gazing at the monotonous scenery before her, Yae-hime brushed aside her disheveled hair and muttered softly to herself.

Aqua Blue Star’s accelerated awakening meant that the future she had once experienced had already become meaningless. The information she possessed was rapidly losing all value as well.

More importantly, the three years before the worlds synchronized might shrink to only one-third of that time… perhaps even less. And the disasters brought about by the joinings of the two worlds would arrive far earlier.

“I just hope people can realize something through these phenomena.” Yae-hime had no intention of revealing the future to the outside world, nor was there any meaning in doing so.

The moment the Five Great Nations began promoting this game, they had already sent out a similar warning. And now, with these heavenly anomalies appearing as well, if people still failed to notice anything, then that was their own problem.

“The only person who can truly save you… is yourself.” Yae-hime had never once thought about becoming some kind of savior. That was something saints were supposed to do.

Letting out a soft breath, she placed both hands on the rooftop railing and silently gazed into the distant scenery. Time passed second by second. Suddenly—

“Strange… why is my absorption speed almost the same as in the game…” Sensing the subtle changes within her body, Yae-hime could not help but knit her delicate brows together.

She immediately opened her status panel.1 Displayed on it was the condition of her Automatic Energy Absorption. Sure enough, it was significantly faster than before.

Under normal circumstances, Yae-hime should have been happy about such a result. But she could not smile. Because the more spiritual energy increased, the more likely those peerless experts who were only half a step away from transcendence would break through into an entirely new realm! Not only that, the revival speed of those ancient creatures would accelerate as well!

“This is bad… extremely bad.” She had only just raised her strength to roughly the same level as Lisa and the others, yet now the gap seemed destined to widen once again. “Those experts who already have one foot in the Martial Saint realm will most likely shatter their shackles and achieve transcendence in the near future.”

Yae-hime could not help but worry about this. After all, what those unrivaled powerhouses lacked in reaching a brand-new realm was merely an opportunity. And now, Yae-hime herself had personally delivered that opportunity right into their hands!

‘Fortunately, I still have some time to prepare. That said, why does this mutation feel like it only benefited everyone except me?’ Rolling her eyes, she took out her phone and called Nangong Lin.

“Good evening, Princess!” The call was answered before the second ring finished, and Nangong Lin’s delighted voice rang out brightly.

“Good evening. I have something I’d like to trouble you with,” Yae-hime said.

“It’s no trouble at all! As long as it’s something for Princess, I’d never find it troublesome!” Nangong Lin replied at lightning speed.

“Thank you. It’s nothing major. I just wanted to ask if you could help me rent a cold storage somewhere around Lixin Road. One capable of storing a large amount of food.”

Considering that she would eventually have a luxurious lineup consisting of nineteen Veras plus one Little Blue, all of them monstrous eaters… Yae-hime had to reserve a food storage warehouse in advance.

The reason she asked Nangong Lin for help was because the Nangong family operated a whole chain of food-related industries. Even if a massive quantity of ingredients were moved from their side, it would not attract attention.

Of course, she had no intention of paying a cent less. Favors were favors, business was business. That was Yae-hime’s way of handling things.

“A warehouse, and ingredient supply too? Alright, leave it to me!” Nangong Lin agreed immediately without even asking further questions. Being able to handle matters for Princess was an honor in itself. At least, that was how she saw it.

The two chatted casually for a while before Yae-hime ended the call and switched to calling Mylene to ask about the insects. They also discussed the heavenly anomalies. Unfortunately, Mylene did not know much about them either.

Still, after confirming that those giant insects had not appeared, Yae-hime finally felt somewhat relieved.

“Next… should I go look for Little Blue?” Putting away her phone, she lifted her head toward the moon hanging high in the night sky and softly murmured.
