The two silhouettes collided with a sharp clang, followed by a heavy thud that reverberated through the chamber. A slanted slash tore across Hiyuki from her collarbone downward. Her small body was split apart, and both she and «Gilles de Rais», entwined with Amadeus, toppled onto Devta’s corpse as blood spilled across the floor.

“…You really are one infuriating person.” Blood poured from Hiyuki’s body, yet her face bore a strangely content expression. Azure God grumbled in bitterness, his gaze falling on the jagged edge of Amadeus that had buried itself in his stomach.

“If the future had not already been set in stone, I might have truly lost.” He sighed, a stream of fresh blood spilling from his lips. “You really were an irregular… no, perhaps this was the will of «Sefer Yetzira.» You must have been destined to replace that coward, a new version to overwrite the system itself. That was your role.”

As though reaching some grim understanding, he nodded to himself and pulled the shard of Amadeus from his chest. Holding it with both hands, he crushed it into fine powder. “But fate has favored me… to complete the loop already set upon its path…” His words carried a fevered haze as he staggered toward Hiyuki’s body. The blood from Hiyuki, Devta, and Azure God mingled together, painting strange patterns across the floor.

Suddenly, Azure God felt something beneath his foot. Glancing down, he saw the shattered fragments of Devta’s Life Jewel, stained black and red with blood. His gaze lingered briefly, then he dismissed it and continued forward.

He had barely taken another step when the shattered fragments suddenly glowed, red and blue light radiating outward. The two hues intertwined into a deep purple and shot into Hiyuki’s abdomen near her womb. In the next moment, her entire body was engulfed in a dazzling violet radiance.

“W-What the hell is happening?!”

The brilliance was so blinding that even Azure God froze in his tracks, shielding his eyes with both hands.

Meanwhile, Mutsu was carried through the shifting mouths of the Void Mist, arriving at its peak just as the purple light washed over Hiyuki. Half-asleep, he turned toward the towering shadow moving in a trance and spoke.

“…The path is now open, dear child. I trust you will protect our Princess…” When the figure gave a firm nod in answer, Mutsu’s lips curved into a broad smile—perhaps the brightest he had ever shown.

When the dazzling brilliance faded, Azure God slowly opened his eyes. At first, nothing seemed to have changed; the surroundings were still. Yet he sensed the world felt somehow less vivid, unsettling him. Then, as his vision cleared, his eyes widened in shock.

“You! Who the hell are you?! How did you get in here?!” Azure God’s eyes fixed on the silhouette of a tall youth, no older than fifteen or sixteen. He had black hair with a single silver-tinted tuft that shimmered against the light. Dressed in a black, military-style uniform with a long coat draped over it, he was a boy handsome enough to leave a lasting impression, though his scowl broke the brilliance of the moment.

“No one should be able to enter here except me or Hiyuki! The filter blocks anyone without our factors! So how did you get here?! And where did Hiyuki go?!” Azure God shouted, his gaze darting to the empty ground behind the youth, where Hiyuki and Devta’s bodies should have been, yet neither remained.

“…They have not disappeared. They are here.” The youth touched his chest, then drew a golden longsword from the scabbard at his back.

“V-Versa Amadeus?! What the hell?!” Azure God’s voice cracked as his eyes darted between the golden longsword in his hand and the identical blade the youth now wielded. There was no mistaking it, they were the same sword.

“You b̲a̲s̲t̲a̲r̲d̲, are you a Game Master too?!”

“No.” The youth’s denial was quiet but firm as he raised Versa Amadeus, pointing the blade at Azure God.

As the two faced one another in tense silence, beads of sweat gathered on Azure God’s forehead. He could feel it, the youth possessed enough power to overwhelm him.

“You said it yourself. Only you or she can enter this place. Then the reverse must also be true. As long as one bears those elements, they can pass freely. I never expected you to be such a dimwit, my foolish dark half.”

Azure God listened with disbelief, his expression tightening. Gradually, doubt gave way to realization. “W-What… are you saying you are mine and Hiyuki’s…?” he forced out, barely able to form the absurd words.

The youth gave a silent nod.

“Are you kidding me?! How can such a contradiction exist?! Why are you, who should belong to another time, standing here?!” Azure God’s reason finally snapped, leaving him consumed by irrational madness.

“I was born of my mother’s love. My adoptive parents, and all those around them, raised me with equal affection. They opened the path that allowed me to arrive here. This place is isolated from the space-time continuum, a singularity adrift in the Sea of Dirac. I am the future destined to occur, and within a point where past, present, and future converge, events such as this should not be surprising. For I still remain within my own timeline.” The young man spoke with a strangely prideful tone.

“I-if what you say is true… then why point your sword at me?! No, it is pointless. You cannot kill me without triggering the parent-child paradox!” Azure God, regaining a false calm, grinned with confidence as he leveled his own sword at the youth.

“You are mistaken. My existence is already fixed through observation. I have transcended linear cause and effect, becoming a self-contained loop—an ouroboros woven inseparably into the structure of causality. In short, I can kill you here and now without consequence.”

Fear crept back into Azure God as he listened. The young man’s voice was calm, resonant, and carried no hint of distortion or doubt.

“What nonsense! What would you gain by killing me?! If I die, my authority as the Creation God will dissolve into the endless loop of causality, reduced to nothing but a title! The world will be left without a god! Do you truly desire its end?!”

“Correction. That will never happen. The world will simply reclaim what has always been its rightful due. Simple, isn’t it? My mother believed the same. After all, a dream can be achieved on its own.”

“This pathetic world cannot carve its own future!” Azure God roared, unleashing High Speed Mode at full force as he brought Versa Amadeus down toward the youth.

Yet the youth’s movement revealed a mastery of footwork and swordsmanship far beyond Azure God’s. “…You… my father’s failure has always been this. He never believed in human strength. But humans are far stronger than you imagine, and in a world so vast, they will always find a way forward.”

Whether Azure God heard the words or dismissed them, no one could tell. Their shadows merged as both blades clashed. He was never a match. Perhaps the strike had destroyed his very core, for his body began to disintegrate into particles, scattering into nothingness. With no master left to wield it, Versa Amadeus fell and stabbed into the ground, standing upright as the final symbol of his existence—a solitary grave marker.
