The sharp tearing of fabric split the silence of the room. “Phew…” the man exhaled with satisfaction as the last remnants of her garments lay in tatters, stripped from her body.
In a temple barred from all intrusion, the god of that world—Azure God, a blue-haired young man—watched with exhilarated delight as his eyes fell upon Hiyuki, the trembling girl pinned beneath him.
Every trace of clothing and ornament that clung to her tender skin had been torn away and cast aside. She trembled endlessly like a newborn fawn, yet still struggled to free herself from his grip. But escape was impossible. She lacked the physique, the weight, and the strength of arm. In this state, it was no different from a contest between an adult and a child.
Amid the scattered tatters of her rose corsage, Azure God felt a wave of conquest and sadism surge through him as he stared at the slender, supple arm entwined with his own tanned, muscular one. Returning Versa Amadeus to his inventory, he resumed his cruel task, snapping another of the girl’s fingers.
“Aaaah!” Her anguished scream rang out as tears streamed without end. Her body arched from the agony, and when she tried to resist, her fragile struggle was brushed aside effortlessly.
“I believe your Regeneration should be ending soon, shouldn’t it? It would be much easier for both of us if you simply behaved until all your fingers are broken.” His voice carried the softness of someone coddling a child, yet his actions were merciless. Another sharp crack echoed as he snapped another finger.
Hiyuki’s eyes rolled back from the excruciating pain before snapping wide open, her pupils reflecting the luminous ceiling. Her beloved sword, «Gilles de Rais», glowed faintly where it was stabbed into the ground.
“Ah, now you’re being a good girl,” Azure God remarked with a trace of pride as her cries finally ceased. His eyes swept over her exposed form without reservation, taking in every detail. Unlike the ripened body of a grown woman, she was still like a fragile bud on the verge of bloom, yet far from maturity. It was precisely that fleeting innocence, that snow-pale skin, that he sought to indulge in.
His imagination began to spiral, every fragile detail of her body feeding his lust for domination. Her slight frame, her delicate waist that looked as though the faintest pressure might break it, all tempted him further. His gaze lingered on the vulnerable curves of her form, and a cruel hunger stirred within him, imagining how easily he could claim what was left untouched.
His imagination was already running rampant, his hands still exploring her small breast, its size perfectly fitting within his palm. The temptation of the single, vivid red cherry atop the snowy mound captivated him beyond control. His eyes moved from her chest to her delicate waist, so fragile it seemed any sudden movement might break it, then downward to the valley nestled between the gentle curves of her hips. He found himself imagining how sweet the nectar would taste, dripping from the depths of those rose petal-like folds.
*Gulp…* Azure God swallowed his breath, his expression already wearing a look of intense desire.
“I know your origin data came from your game profile, even if you were once male. But I must admit, your beauty is boundless. Devta always carried cold, romantic feelings for you, so it makes sense. And now that you are female, I have even less reason to hold back.”
Breathing heavily and raggedly, Azure God reached toward Hiyuki’s hidden valley, not gently caressing but rubbing as if molding clay. His touch was rough, making her wince in pain. Lost in his obsession and ready to overwhelm her, he suddenly paused, lifting his head as a faint tremor shook the room.
“…What in the world? How could any attack possibly reach this tower?” he muttered. With a snap of his fingers, the ceiling shifted into a massive screen, revealing Imperial Crimson’s forces outside, unleashing their arsenal in a desperate assault against the Void Mist.
“Tch. Trash never learns their place, just like their master,” he sneered, mocking their futile effort. “A stroke of luck let them shake this isolated space, but that is nowhere near enough to affect the Void Mist. They’re just clawing at doors that will never open. Vain, but loyal… I suppose that deserves some praise, Hiyuk—grrgh!”
His smug grin twisted instantly into a grimace of pain. «Gilles de Rais» had stabbed into his back, falling from the ceiling during the tremor caused by Imperial Crimson’s strike. Though nothing but an accident, it left him seething with fury.
“Gilles de Ra… no, this worthless piece of trash!”
The turn of events had been just as unexpected for Hiyuki. But when she realized she had been handed another chance at life, she seized it. Twisting free of Azure God’s grip, she turned to his back, her broken fingers reaching desperately for her sword.
“Argh… you b̲i̲t̲c̲h̲!”
Her fingers closed around the hilt of her beloved sword. With a sudden kick she struck Azure God, breaking free and leaping back to put distance between them. Her first action was to cast Heal—one of the quickest recovery spells, though it restored only ten percent of her HP at a time. She directed it first to mend her shattered bones.
“Hah… surely you don’t think that toothpick can stand against my Versa Amadeus, do you? Still, I’ll applaud your bravery,” Azure God scoffed. With a flick, he drew the golden longsword from his Inventory, closing the distance between them in a single breath.
Feeling her body strengthen as the recovery spell restored her, Hiyuki steadied herself. Then, without hesitation, she turned and ran toward that place, still stark naked but determined.
“Pfft. You really know how to wiggle your hips. Is that your way of trying to seduce me?” he jeered.
Before the echo of his words faded, Azure God vanished. Instantaneous Movement—High Speed Mode. Catching up to Hiyuki was effortless, and in an instant, his blade slashed toward her feet.
“Let’s start with your legs. You’re terrible at running anyway!” he laughed.
The sword cut sharply through the air with a whistling cry, a ray of radiance sweeping at her feet. Hiyuki barely evaded, rolling away just in time. Using a nearby pillar as a springboard, she launched herself skyward before diving down at Azure God, her sword aimed straight for his eyes.
Azure God remained calm. What could a mere player’s weapon possibly do to him? A daring smirk played on his lips as he relished her futile effort… until his eyes focused on the blade in her hands. His smirk faltered, his eyes widening in shock.
It was her sword, «Gilles de Rais». There was no denying it, and though it was impressive among player weapons, the gap between it and his GM authority was vast. But what seized his attention was the crystalline mass clinging to its blade. He needed no explanation. It was the remains of the sheath that once encased the true Versa Amadeus… in other words, fragments of the very blade itself.
Realization struck him, and his gaze darted aside. There lay Devta’s corpse at his feet. At once it was clear, she had maneuvered all along, circling toward the discarded sheath. Amadeus alone held the authority to wound his body.
“Damn you! Do you really think you can do anything with that cursed Amadeus?!” he roared.
By the time realization sank in, it was too late. To distance himself or use High Speed Mode now would mean stepping straight into her trap. If he miscalculated even once, the risk was too great. He resolved instead to intercept her strike with his own Versa Amadeus.
“Haaa!!”
“I will kill yoooouuu!!”
