“See you tonight, big sis!”

Waving goodbye, little Qianxia bounced off toward home to wash up, her innocent smile pure enough to cleanse even the filthiest of souls.

“Haa... what a little angel…”

As I turned around, I saw Xiao Lei hugging her knees, sitting on the couch. My expression immediately darkened.

“Listen up, Xiao Lei. When you turn back into Zhao Zhao, you are absolutely forbidden from making any comments about my female form. Got it? Otherwise, I’m using the permanent marker to erase ‘Zhao Zhao’ from this world!”

“Wh-Why are you being so harsh with me?!”

“Don’t take it personally. I’m not just targeting you—I’m targeting Zhao Zhao through you. Whatever you feel or say now, he’ll remember later. That’s why I have to stay on guard. And seriously… we were just sleeping! Why did your hand end up inside my pajamas?!”

“It was a dream! I had no control over my actions!”

By the time we woke up, my dad—model elite office worker that he is—had already gone off to work with Wu Qinglan. It was still early, but since Xiao Lei had to revert back into Zhao Zhao and head home to grab his schoolbag, we needed to keep track of time.

Come to think of it, did he finish his homework?

It had been two days since I stopped using the wheelchair, and I was actually starting to miss it. Human laziness is terrifying. At some point, I’d grown far too used to not walking on my own—and even started to depend on it.

So I slumped back into the wheelchair, and Zhao Zhao pushed me from behind. Apart from the occasional stares from passersby, it was all very comfy. I could even look down at my phone without anyone calling me a phone addict.

“By the way, yesterday in the taxi—did Rinka make some kind of deal with you? What was that about?”

“Oh, she invited me—well, Xiao Lei—to hang out this Saturday.”

“Eh? And you didn’t tell me?”

“She only invited me. She specifically said she’s not bringing you this time.”

Tch.
But why?
She invited Xiao Lei but not me?
That’s messed up!
What’s Rinka plotting?!

“Ahem. Don’t you think it might be a trap? Maybe she’s planning to use your lower IQ as an opening to uncover the secrets of the God of Bishoujo!”

“Hey! Who are you calling low IQ?! I’m just hiding my genius under a simple guise! Don’t worry, Commander—I’ll be on high alert!”

You’re exactly the kind of person I can’t relax around…

During class that afternoon, Zhao Zhao got a text from the café manager: Xiao Lei’s maid uniform had arrived. That meant she could start her part-time job today.

He’d been waiting for this, so once school ended, Xiao Lei was practically skipping after senior Jianlian on the way to Tianping Shopping District.

It was Xiao Lei’s first day on the job, but I didn’t tag along—I wasn’t going to spend money, so sitting there doing nothing felt awkward. Plus, I needed someone to help me get home. So I used the avatar bookmark on Xiao Lei again.

Weirdly, without the bookmark, I felt a little… empty.

Not only had I grown dependent on the wheelchair, I’d also gotten used to moving around freely using the bookmark. But hey, the bookmark was made for Xiao Lei in the first place—I should probably start weaning myself off it… Can’t let myself get addicted to the female body. That’s a one-way ticket to becoming a full-blown crossdressing enthusiast!

As the after-school crowd swarmed the streets, Zhao Zhao’s eyes were darting back and forth across all the skirts and exposed legs of the JKs of Biyang. Girls these days were fearless. Skirts below the knee had basically gone extinct—and the male gaze was thriving.

“Commander, I think we’re being followed.”

“Eh?!” Zhao Zhao’s sudden alertness gave me a shock.

He might be a musclehead, but his instincts were always scarily sharp. I scanned our surroundings—but saw nothing suspicious.

“I don’t see anything.”

“I don’t either. But I feel it. Someone’s watching us… they’re watching us right now.”

That feeling of “being watched” was hard to explain, but I knew what he meant.

Whenever I was in my female form, I’d get those kinds of creepy stares too—yeah, mostly aimed at my chest.

Still sitting in the wheelchair, I gave the area another once-over… and noticed a group of four girls gathered on the sidewalk in their Biyang autumn uniforms, circled around something.

“Aw! It’s so well-behaved!”

“Can I pet it? Will it bite?”

“Meow~”
A cat?

Turns out they were crowding around a short-haired white cat with a collar. Definitely someone’s pet—it wasn’t afraid of people at all. As soon as it noticed my gaze, it walked straight over to me.

It trotted right up to the wheelchair, then dramatically flopped over and exposed its fuzzy belly.

“Meow~”

It really wanted to be petted.

“Is this cat… trying to scam me?”

Zhao Zhao found it hilarious and played along: “Officer! I didn’t push the wheelchair, it flopped over on its own!”

The fluffy-girl vibes of the four-student cat-petting crew evaporated the moment they noticed it was Zhao Zhao pushing the chair—they scattered like pigeons.

“Zhao Zhao, you idiot!”

“Eh?! Why are you yelling at me?!”

“Because of you, I lost my chance to know four new cat-loving girls!”

Not that I could crouch down to pet the cat anyway—my leg was still in a cast. As I hesitated, the white cat stepped up onto my lap, tilted its head, and stared at me.

“Meow~ Chu~”

Wait a second…
Did this cat just wink at me?
“You flirt!”

I gave in and had a great petting session.

Fun fact: if Zhao Zhao tried to pet it, the cat would instantly dodge him.

“Wow, even animals are into pretty faces, huh?”

“Probably because it’s a female cat. And you’ve got this natural anti-female aura going on.”

“Oh, and that gaze I felt earlier? It was from this cat.”

“You’re saying it was stalking us?”

I wasn’t entirely convinced.

“There’s no tag on the collar. Wonder who owns it.”

I scratched its tummy. It purred contentedly.

We still had leftover cat food at home, but since this one had an owner, I figured I shouldn’t bring it back.

Anyway, the cat was just a side story.

Eventually, I made it home. Zhao Zhao stuck around to do his homework while waiting for Xiao Lei to return. The next few days passed like that.

With no monthly quota to meet, life was peaceful—peaceful enough to make Kira Yoshikage jealous. I went straight home after school every day, never lingered to trigger any events. Sometimes little Qianxia came by to hang out—still climbing through the window, of course.

And I still had to transform both Xiao Lei and senior Changpu every day for their part-time jobs.

Speaking of which, that “Rakshasa” gang leader—Sharo—actually went to interview for the maid job.

According to Xiao Lei, she and the café manager hit it off instantly, so the interview went super smoothly… That manager clearly has a very questionable sense of taste. Aside from senior Changpu, none of the others are maid material!

Thanks to Sharo joining, “Kamehameha” now had four maids!

That’s… probably a good thing. Let the job smooth out some of her rough edges.

Time passed peacefully—but as Saturday crept closer, I started to feel this weird itch in the back of my mind.

I know it sounds self-centered, but… Rinka inviting Xiao Lei out without inviting me? That’s way too suspicious.

Also suspicious? That white cat. It had started showing up after school almost every day, sticking to me like glue—even though I never fed it anything!

Saturday, September 20th

The day finally came.

Zhao Zhao showed up early, transformed into Xiao Lei, and was already dressed in a brand-new outfit. You could tell he was really looking forward to today’s outing.

“So where are you going?”

“Not sure yet. Rinka said she’d plan everything—I just have to meet her at her house.”

You don’t even know the destination?! What if she sells you off or something?!

“Are there others going too?”

“Yep! Meow Meow-chan and Sis Xi are coming too! You just stay home and rest up, Commander. I’ll bring you a souvenir tonight~”

“O-Okay. Take care!”

I watched Xiao Lei leave…

Then immediately dropped the act.

Stay home and rest or do chores? As if!

There's no way I’m just waiting around while they gather all the members of that “Anti-Chairman Conspiracy Club”.

Rinka already called up Meow Meow and Sis Xi… if Sis Fei joins them too, something’s definitely up. I just know they’re scheming something.

And Xiao Lei’s walking right into it! And knowing her, she’ll drag me into it afterward too!

She may be kind of dense, but even she should’ve noticed something’s fishy. What on earth did Rinka say to convince her?

I had to know.

So I held back—I didn’t use the bookmark on her today.

After splitting off my avatar, I put on a mask and sunglasses, slipped out of the house, and quietly tailed Xiao Lei toward Rinka’s place.

“Alright. Operation Secret Stalker begins now!”

“Meow~?”

“Wah?!”

Of course, the moment I stepped out…

That white cat was already waiting for me, rubbing up affectionately against my leg.

Seriously, what is with this cat?!
