If the neutral country of Priden had not been founded, by that point they would have completely different lives.
After a deep breath, Schenna changed the topic.

“I’m sorry for spouting so much nonsense. Today was fun though.”
“…Do you want to go on a date next time we have a free day?”
“Huh?!”
“Last time we went hunting with Grana we found a rural village. There was plenty of stuff we could use to cook, and it was really peaceful and calm. This fortress city of Shalteaux is a pretty nice and lively place as well, but I thought it could be nice to go take a fresh breath in a more calm place.”

The way she mentioned a date at the start had startled her, but Schenna thought it was not a bad idea to go out of the fortress city filled with people who came and went, and instead go visit a small and calm village.

“In that case, let’s go with everyone! It almost feels like a small trip.”

Schenna changed Luthors suggestion a bit, but Luthors looked slightly dissatisfied as her eyes danced around without meeting Schenna’s.

“You bring your friends to a date between girls?”

Sareenea’s weary voice rang as she appeared on the front door, then she came closer to Schenna.

“I’m trying to come up with a new idea for a manga. I’ll borrow your mistress dark elf and your new employee.”
“Wait, that’s so sudden…”

Without warning, Sareneea trampled on Schenna’s feet, and while ignoring her painful state she kept talking.

“I also want you to introduce me to the goddess that came to your place. You used to both be male and a knight, so you would never refuse a request from a maiden, right?”

Sareenea glared at Schenna while she kept bombarding her with questions, Schenna eventually gave up and then turned to Luthors.

“Luthors. Let’s umm…go on a date together next time we’re free!”

Mustering all the courage in her, Schenna accepted Luthors’ invitation.
The two quickly blushed as they shook hands. Watching them, Sareenea shook her head in disbelief, but soon enough had a blissful look as she ate one of the rice balls that was on the table from their practice earlier.
Not too long after, Petra and Grana returned from their walk.

“We’re back. Umm…”
“We’ve returned. It really feels like a dream to take a walk with senpai.”

Grana seemed to have noticed something as he suddenly leaped aside to increase the distance between him and Petra.
Oblivious to that, Petra greeted Sareenea, but her face froze as soon as she noticed her face.
Sareenea made Petra sit on her knees and lectured her for nearly an hour.
Three days after that, it was the arranged date. Schenna and Luthors were transported by Grana to a road near the rural village like always.

“Thanks. We’ll be counting on you to pick us up at the arranged time.”
“Sure, though I don’t mind coming a bit late if you want. I don’t wanna get in the way of you two.”
“Hey…”

Grana made a remark full of meaning before he transported himself back.
By that time, Kishana and Petra were probably already reading manga, as they had left for the workshop ahead of time.
Meanwhile, Luthors and Schenna were now alone, as they bashfully tied their hands together and began walking towards the village.
